it all depends on how the tracks magic data is programmed first suggestion is try running with exactly the same wing/gear settings as the ai if that doesn't do the job, give yourself 16384 grip and the same bhp/wing/gears as the pole sitter, do a few qualifying sessions reducing your grip until you just get pole. so for example you set pole with 2000 grip less than the 16384 defaulby belini - Grand Prix 3

been a long time since I did this and it was for gp32k, but what I remember all wavs are mono 8bit/16bit and 11025/22050k always replace the wav with the same format and I found for gp32k that it worked best for engine sounds by importing the sound you want to replace and cut your new sound to the same legnth then paste over the imported wav, can be a bit tricky for looping. gear change you cby belini - Grand Prix 3
