Hi All!
I have a problem of gp3 season 2000. The tyre colour isn't so good, it looks like the cars, here the pictures. What is the problem?

Did you have GP3Edit open when you launched the game? That's the only time I've seen that problem.

I think Belini did something along these lines as part of one of his grip patches or cockpit view patches. Have a search around the forums as it has certainly been mentioned before.

Okay, I too have some strange goings on with tyres and GP3 2000.

Usually I will always use wbridgRH01_0.jam and wbridgRH01_1 as the slow and fast types which work perfectly, no probs.

But if I select any other tyre jam I get the error that is shown above with the livery of the car on the tyre. I have tried everything I can think of with no luck - even made a copy of the jam files, renamed them COPYwbridgRH01_0 and COPYwbridgRH01_1, selected these new jams in GPxPatch\Season set\Tyres, cross-checked in the *.set file that it matched, and still the same daft error. It is the same if I try and choose any other tyre jam at all, other than the RH01 jams.

Btw, as long as I have the internal SW jams working fine then I can freely change the external HW bmps at will.

Yes, default carshape, not anything selected with GPxPatch.

have you tried without gpxpatch, or default carset

are your software jams numbered 820 to 823?

The jams have the correct id numbers. When I deselect the season set and therefore use the default 2000 jams things work fine, so there is no problem with the original SW jams whbridge0, whbridge1 etc. But even selecting these jams as part of a season set causes the error. I have also tried with different carshapes and the same result. I think I will make a fresh install, or failing that kick my PC to pieces. Thanks for the ideas.

if you use RH tyres, you have to change the names for the tyres in your gp3 2000 seasonsets in gpxpatch\gpxpdata aswell, because the tyres are related to the seasonset files. These are the default entries for Rh 2001 tyres in the RH seasonset 2001. So if you use another seasonset with gpxpatch but with the tyres from RH, the tyres won't recognized correct, i think and then you'll get graphical bugs.

I have already crosschecked the seasonset files. Now in the process of a complete reinstall, making progress I think :)

Oh righty, I have realised my problem here. I changed the SW jams in Gp3jams\Main but didn't have a matching HW bmp in Gp3jamsH\Techjam with the same filename. Everything is okay now!
