rFactor - WTCC 2007 or 2008 mod...is there any?

Hi.

The question is just as in the topic. Is there any WTCC 2007 or 2008 mod for rFactor. I haven't seen any yet. Can anyone come up with some download links or something?

There certainly is mate, but for legal reasons it's called RaceX and it's basically Race and Race07, and you can also get BTCC Version for it too (although again for legalities its called BTWC) Not sure about posting the links for it so please pm me and I'll provide you with all you need :0

3rd - BTWC (BTCC) if you want it.

:/ Sure it's a good idea...but not with a slow connection like mine...Besides I'm quite new to rFactor and need LOTS of practice before I take the wheel and go for racing. However, one day I may join the league and kick your arse

I've downloaded the mod and it's awesome. Apart from WTCC it contains a lot more other series.

One thing which I don't like is the cockpit camera position - it's like the driver's seat was fully retracted. As a result I don't see many things through the windscreen and feel more like a backseat-passenger than a driver. How can I "push" the driver's seat forward in order to be closer to the steering wheel?

There are keys to change your driving position. They aren't assigned per default IIRC, you need to assign them yourself in the options menu. Then go into the cockpit and you can change your driving position

you should be able to fiddle with them by using the mouse too, just hold ctrl I think

<edit> I have tried those ideas. The one about mouse doesn't work but adjusting the keys works fine...Up until now I wouldn't even think that adjusting the driver's position can be done in-game. All the other games i've played needed special tweaks, utilities etc. to do this. Good that rFactor is different
