Exactly. They're just letting their excitement at getting a new F1 game cloud their vision..

After the youtube video of the game, little else can be said. It looks like the PS2 F1 series game where you overtake 10 cars in a lap and get off at the first turn, going back to the last position and overtake again 10 cars in that lap and so on...

Come on, GP4 is very difficult to beat.
In my last race, I did about 10 laps in a row during a race between 1.26s and 1.27s matching the pace of the car in front... do you think that is possible with the handling of the new game?...and imagine the setup stuff! Again, in GP4 the setup makes a difference and you can really play with it. With what I've seen it seems even funny to think about setup.

Question: Why all recent/last F1 games the cars have such an incredible sensibility with the direction? I think it is impossible to think about racing a full race with such handling. At the end, the game has to be playable...

While GP4 is alive, I doubt I will change to any other...

I expect the F1 2010 Game for both PS3/PC Platform will be a gorgeous graphics and effects, but like ali said. a game that you overtake alot of car in 1ap then run-off ending on the back of the grid then overtake alot of car again in just a single lap. Anyways, I'll just stick to CTDP's experties.

Why don't we wait and see, i'm at least giving Codies a chance to deliver, if they don't then many people will be disappointed. ;)

Expectating will almost always lead ppl to disapointment, tho.

It better to keep it at a low level to be surprised, somewhat, later.

The graphics aren't that bad (for the Wii), but the handling and the sliding front tyres and non-existent damage and the two dolts in the advert make the whole thing hideous.

I'm really not expecting much from this at all. I hope to high hell that it'll work if I plug a Gamecube remote in...

it looks ok for the wii, but yeah it does look like it plays a bit crap.

if any of you have seen the dx11 dirt 2 videos, hopefully they'll be using the same technology for the f1 game, would look and hopefully play incredible.

does anyone know if they have been any grid or dirt mods?

that's kind of essential for an f1 game

Probably not, Codemasters racing games are not that modable.

this has to be one of the worst games for f1 i have seen. never played a wii game so perhaps its par for the course but the physics is all wrong, the tyres the way they turn in..its all wrong.

gp4 pisses all over this. gp4 physics are on a whole different level - i realised this the first time i lost my front wing in a first corner tag - and the immediate feeling of understeer was great.

with all the mods and physics updates the community has provided make this the best f1 game by a while imo. perhaps rfactor is next closest.

lol they didn't even bother making the track realistic

it just looks like a bad F1 mod for CART Precision Racing

As is already known:
- this is NOT the PC version
- Wii doesn't target the sim audience but the casual fun seeker
- GP4 is not the best f1 game by a while (but that's a different story)

Where "o" represents the car, and the "l" on either side represent the rails on which it runs ;)
