It isnt dynamic no, from what I've read and heard. It loads different scenes for the different times, as you progress.

not so fun

but you still have feeling that the time of the day is changing and that isn't so bad. I hope that there will be a sve opion in the game, so that you wouldn't have to race for whole 24h

There is a save option, yes.

You can see 'darkness' fall in, but after a couple of hours he changes completly to 'dark/night' setting with load-screen and puts you (and the other cars) on the track, as you were.

yeah, but it would be perfect to not have that load screen . I hope they kind of sort it in the internacional version or in a future patch

I doens't bother me that you get a loading screen 4 times in 24 hours.....
But .. maybe, in the future

It's more of an issue for online endurance events - if the multiplayer capabilities just don't live up to those of a modern game. WOSEC, an online endurance league with driver changes were planning to use GTR for races, but it simply wasn't good enough, so they're going to run the NR2003 GTP mod instead.

Hopefully when they get the new physics engine for the expected 'GTR2' it'll accomodate a way of working things like this better, because it had all the ingredients of being the perfect endurance sim, but just fell that little bit short.

well, it falls short if you want to race long length events online, but i cant see them accomodating it, because whats the point really? its not really an important factor for 99% of people
