Bite its hand, Muks :P.
And I got mine in 2002 actually, 2003 was the first year of my pics though ;)

I actually put 2002 first, then edited to 2003 cos I didn't think the 2002 car would actually be on sale in 2002 (cos they take usually nearly a whole year to be on sale), but have now changed it back to 2002, so everything is ok.

LS.,

This one looks like plastic, is it plastic or metal?

Its the usual Minichamps build, just the way it came out when i photographed it i guess, combination of metal body work and plastic bits like the rear end and front end etc.

The rear wing looks lighter in the photograph than in real life though, the photo does'nt do it justice

just saw this on ebay, and noticed something peculiar about the box. it has the Ferrari shield in the top-left corner, but says 'McLaren' on the bottom-right corner:

nice MS statue they are also selling:

look at these 3 statues:

Hill
[cgi.ebay.co.uk]

mansell
[cgi.ebay.co.uk]

Lauda
[cgi.ebay.co.uk]

Mansell and Lauda look ok, but the Hill one doesn't really look like him. and the uniform colours and logos are not really accurate.

some more here, Hill, Lauda, Berger and MS:

Sorry L.S.,

I have those Models also (well, mine are all Onix (small ones) and HotWheels (1:18) Minichamps isn't sold here in Brazil). So I know they are Metal and Plastic.

I think the photo made me confusion, I think because it's white and isn't shining like the blue part. My confusion, sorry.

that Kimi figure is the exact same one as the MS one from the 2001 52 Wins model, just with a different helmet and colour scheme, and the same as the F2004 75 wins model with racesuit piece.

F2001 52 Wins Belgium GP:

F2004 75 Wins Spanish GP:

they could have at least designed a different figure for a different driver. just shows the laziness of Mattel.

Yeah, I never saw Kimi with both hands in the air celebrating. When he wins the maximun he does is waving his right hand.

from Japan 2005 ;):

this would have been a nice figure to make to go with the car, with steering wheel in hand, and sh*t stains on arse:

the point is that they are so lazy at Mattel that they used the same figure, (from 4 years ago!!!) again for Schumacher, and also for Kimi. they could have at least made a different one for Kimi.
