GPGSL S7 [SEASON COMPLETED!!!] Rule Changes Announced For S8.

I know it's a few races away, but I've made a cheeky one-off, special edition helmet for the season finale. (Inspired, of course, by Mr Raikkonen; only a 5-minute job but hey-ho.)

Which helmet shape does the league use? I downloaded the 2005 Arai shape from the introduction posting on site 1 but I'm not sure if the league use this still.

Maybe we can pick 1 or 2 races every season where people are allowed to use a special helmet edition! Like Monaco GP in F1 always seem to attract drivers to wear specials (i.e. Alonso and Raikkonen)
That way RD's and mod compilers are aware when something will be different etc.

I like the idea very much, especially if we can get Monaco back in the calendar. I did a helmet some days ago for a random reason, and I was up to make one for the season finale but when I saw what Stu wrote, I discarded it. I understand how difficult it is. However, I'm already working on my S8 design

Looking for a helmet designer for next year. Need a change from just red.

honestly, the discussion in german tv about the helmet-designs was quite fun. Niki Lauda and Christian Danner are both right in my opinion. They say: In the 80th or 90th, everyone had ONE helmet, the design was always the same, so you could see from the helmet, who was driving. They hate the helmet-changes nowadays, everyone needs a new helmet every race etc.
I don't think, the arguments are that valid, but their position is ^^
For me one helmet per design-change of the team (or team-change) would be enough. Ok, i'm no skinner, so i depend on people, who create the tex-files for me ^^
But i won't design a special helmet. My two pence on this topic.

Ah, this is no insult or anything, just wanted to mention it.

I cant remember if I have or have not commented my last race. So to be sure, I am not happy about my performance. We seem to have lost some ground as season has progressed and we need to work hard to get back to the point scoring positions.

And as the season is already in final stages, I am not sure about my next season. My personal manager wont answer my calls, and I am not sure has he even spoken with Maikel, my team manager. I've been a Snake driver for my entire career, and I would happily keep things that way. But like I said, my personal manager has disappeared. I'm alone and afraid. Wildlife in Australia is very strange...

Loving the magazine
