Team Shadow Subaru Announcement
'After six years in partnership, across ten GPG racing seasons Team Shadow would like to announce that their partnership with Subaru shall end after the current season of the GPGSL. I would like to stress that I have enjoyed enormously working with the guys at Subaru and I think both parties can be extremely proud of our achievements together which have seen us grow into one of the most successful, longest running and high profile teams across multiple GrandPrixGames series'. We part on very good terms and I wish Subaru all the best with their future endeavours.'
Team Shadow and Subaru first paired up in 2006 after season one of the World Grand Prix when Shadow owner Tom Pellatt purchased the Subaru works team. After also taking over World 300 team, AG Racing, the partnership immediately began building the iconic brand which we are all familiar with today. They acheived success with race wins in all series but their most dominant period was in seasons 2 and 3 of the GPGSL when they took back to back Driver's and Constructor's Championships.
It is believed that Team Shadow are currently negotiating contracts with another manufacturer to partner them in season 8 of the GPGSL.
