I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

Martini pledges its continued support to MPR and the GPGSL

Today Martini promised its continued support to MPR, and the GPGSL as a whole.

'In these difficult financial times, how we advertise our company is being supervised more than ever. However we feel that the commitment we made to Dan Paddock team back in 2008, still holds the same importance right now.'

'We promised that we wanted to push the team forward, after what had been a difficult start in the series. We put in some money into the underfunded team, and brought Porsche in as an engine supplier to the team.'

'Our first season together was great as we finished 4th in the Constructors Championship. We then decided to take an even greater interest in the team. Lancia joined the team, and we ended the season 2nd overall.'

'While the team has not had that kind of success since, we have still always been one of the top 4 teams. We at Martini see no reason to end our partnership now, and will continue to support the team.'

Dan Paddock was said to be very pleased to have renewed the sponsorship deal with Martini. The deal is believed to be an extension of 2 seasons.

He also hinted that the team could drop the red from its livery for next year.

On another note, I will be on holiday from 18th August to 3rd September, so I will be inactive in that period. That will also mean that I won't be able to do the perfs. I'm sure that John Maverick will be able to do them, if he has returned from holiday himself that is. Maybe Dean can check them for him ... ????????

If needs be im quite happy to RD this round if paolo can't, or do activity checks or check perfs. Im quite free at the moment

Hi guys, maths and chemistry finally released me. I checked the perfs and I was amazed, just like Jack. Only three boosts! And no team boosts! Yeah, I know Monaco's not fast but people do submit a boost sometimes for this round, I believe.

A personal preview: Well, Monaco isn't one of my favourite tracks but I still like all the fast and tight way from Nouvelle Chicane to the main straight. The Piscine is an awesome corner, and the tunnel exit will be difficult. I expect good points here, and judging from the perfs, Stefan does too.



Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps

Ok guys, I am finally back in the base camp from my trip.

@Stu: Of course I can make the perfs in this time.

@Connor: I didn't check the perfs yet because I was on my trip. To not get a bigger delay, Stu posted the perfs anyway. I will change them later on and until then the perfs are NOT GREEN

I can't believe we are up to 9th now...a fantastic first season so far. Hopefully Jack and Michael can build on this and we can finish with a flourish.
