GPGSL Season 6 Complete!

Ed, I couldn't unzip it with winrar, but 7zip worked fine. However the pack failed to install in TSM. The progress bar appears and the staus says its de-compressing, but there's no progress on the bar.

No luck installing the pack with TSM....errors every time. TSM stalls, and has to be shut down via Task Manager....

If you leave TSM open, does it keep installing in the background? Sometimes this happens with me when installing CSM mods.

Check the Tracks folder and see if the files are there.

I did this and they are there but they then crash gp4 when it loads trying to use the mod.

Piranema Qualifying Coverage

Hello and Welcome to live coverage of Qualifying from the Piranema circuit in Brazil. With Stefan Van Renselaar taking a resounding 1st place in free practice ART are going to be looking to get as much out of qualifying as possible. Meanwhile the drivers championship is now pretty much a two horse between Aleksander and Greenhalgh. Without further ado, lets go trackside to sort the grid out for tomorrows race...

The track is green...the sky is blue qualifying has started...

Norbert Horvarth is first on track...and therefore first to set a time.

Neither Karjlainen or Greenhalgh can beat Horvarth's time

Kittleson doesnt have any luck either...

His team mate Cartwright gets on a little better though...

Houston goes 6th...

And Maverick begins to underline ART's pace this weekend. He takes provisional pole position...if he is to stay in the championship hunt he needs this pole position today.

Oakley can only muster 5th, whilst Keely Grant struggles home in 9th place...

Christel VXR still struggling with their qualifying pace...

But MARKO ALEKSANDER ISNT! He takes pole position...

Charrel Jalving goes 4th

Whilst Johnson goes 10th and Glen Sheppard goes 12th...

Elleker looks like he has found a little more pace than his team mate. He manages to haul the CVXR001 into the top 10 for now...

Pedersen comes home nicely in 6th for VSM. They seem to have relatively good pace here this weekend...

Silvestre is just outside the top 10 with his next effort

Worseling struggling at the back of the pack...

Greidanus goes 12th...he will want to be slightly higher up the field than that come race day...

VILELA NOW TAKES POLE! Great lap from the ART driver...he just snuck it in...

Hinz goes into 8th for MAC Racing

Heres how the field looks after the first set of runs...

Karjalainen starts the next runs...

And immediately runs into heavy traffic...as does Kittleson for SCR

The damage of which, is all too obvious...

Greenhalgh is still plugging away, and manages to get up to 6th..

With track temperature cooling a slew of drivers are unable to improve their current times...the next to make an improvement is Pedersen.

Followed by Keely Grant who improves to 21st place.

Ross Cartwright goes 7th

Heres how the field stands after two sets of runs from each driver...

We are going to take a short commercial break and return very soon...

Poor showing so far, even with the boost to supposedly power me along. 18th spot, but just under half a second off the pole time.... what to do!!!???

John Maverick team radio while in the pits after 2 runs

Team engineer: Looking good so far, John. Still 4th place, Rod in pole, Warrington and Aleksander behind.
John: Yeah, 4th is not bad but the track is cooling down, I'm losing grip. I was out too early on my first run, I'd have had Rod's pace for sure!

Team engineer: No worries, there's still plenty of time. Need some wing changes?
John: No, the setup is fine and we're strong, that's the most important thing. Now it's up to me. By the way, where are Jalving and Greenhalgh?

Team engineer: Directly the two places behind you.
John: Confirmed

Well we could of done with that practice session ending half way through with sitting in 6th. Didn't have the pace late on and slipped to 13th which is slightly disapointed. But more encouragment from the session and hopefully we'll be in the top 10 in the race
Not bad so far!

The advantage of being a race driver rather than a tester ;)
