yeh apoligies for what i thought was an iffy coverage. I had an issue i couldnt fix so i ran with it meaning i was a bit handcuffed to the start finish line for most of it.

whoops wrong account. Also the new mod is beast many thanks to Turbo
I'm pleased with eight really :) If we can stick with or just close to Maverick we would still be in a very strong position in the championsip.

9th it's not good or bad... Let's see how the race goes.

awesome pole hopefully i can win the race :) gotta keep an eye on vukcevic though :P

Belgium

With only 50 points spent for qualifying, we can only be happy with this result. We could well be in for a win here.
Hi guys need help. I had my grans birthday so i was running the race today. Suffering major frustration because i ran the round it was all going beautifully till only 13% of the field showed themselves to be on a two stop. I set up the magic data in TSM and when i look at the track magic data after i left the round it showed that i changed it to 100% 2 stops rather than 13% it was originally. when i loaded the csm i did try loading the one track i wanted from the tsm profile and even with changing the dat in the tracks.set in gpx patch to the one in the TSM folder i still have one stop strategy. I feel because i accidently saved at the start of the race i cannot now see if anything i do works since the strategies are now set in stone?
Also how do i use custom grid tool to successfully implement the grid into a seperate race if i have to. I am stuck and cannot run the round without a fix and guidance on this.
I believe it is the same basis as the GPGSL mod as Turbo built if that helps people know what i am looking at.

Thanks!
You have a hopefully helpful pm!

The solution was that the GPXtab was not selected. So simple but i completely missed it thank you i will run the round but it will be posted tomorrow now.
Back on form in qualifying. YAY.

Ignore all previous requests to change teams, I'm sticking with Austria.

Well, under normal circumstances I'd be disappointed with 7th, but in this case it's simply a good thing that none of my direct rivals could use his chance but in contrary all start behind me. So, basically, I simply need to hold all of them behind me!

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
Welcome back to Malaysia and race day here with a gripping climax building for the championship. Championship leader Maverick came out in qualifying and managed to stay ahead of his main rivals from 7th place. Ward and Zakes battled out for pole with Ward winning but who is going to take the chequered flag. Lets head down to the start

And they are off with Zakes getting off to a blinder

He leads into the first corner

Copeman another who had a great start

He is up to 7th forcing Maverick onto the outside line

Maverick still trying to hold onto the position around the outside but to no avail

Tafuro has had a sluggish start in comparison to his rivals

Maverick has run wide into turn 4 but Carreiro is too far away to make a move

Stein and Heart have collided though seeing Stein run out onto the gravel

Heart drops a few places after the coming together

Urazel bumps into Vukcevic who bumps into Hunsley but no trouble coming from it

De Boer has the slipstream and is trying to pass up the inside of Ward into the hairpin

And succeeds forcing Ward wide and a good clean overtake by De Boer

Ward is not giving in just yet since both are slow out of the corner and retakes the place into turn 1

Standings after the first lap

De Boer wanting to try a pass into the hairpin round the back of the circuit but Ward shuts him out

Heart is in the wars again with Paddock this time

Paddock closing the door and Heart had nowhere to go

De Ja Vu between De Boer and Ward as De Boer tries again into the final hairpin

Much more comfortable this time

Just behind Vanthoor cuts off Antunis and it is lucky they did not collide

Ward again retakes second from De Boer down the start finish straight

Jantsher capitalises on the near miss by passing Antunis into turn 1 as well

Maverick has completely missed the braking point and run into the gravel trap

De Boer has outbraked Ward and parked himself on the inside of Ward

Ward stays defiant and uses the speed taken from an outside line to hold the place

Carreiro has suffered a suspension problem and that is the end of his race

Maverick has not moved from the gravel trap and it turns out he has suffered transmission problems and also retires

After passing Antunis, Jantsher makes quick work of Vanthoor on the same lap

Yoshimoto locks up trying not to run into the back of Vukcevic

Hunsley has run off the circuit somewhere and is now back in last place

Copeman is still in 7th but is close enough to Antunis to see him taking a defensive line

Urazel now looking to find a way around Yoshimoto

Oh Copeman has bumped Antunis

They both lock up

And they are both off the track but Copeman can easily continue

Antunis on the other hand is in the gravel

Urazel is ignoring the yellow flags and is trying to pass Yoshimoto

Yoshimoto clearly was not expecting this he has completely cut off Urazel

His car is sideways!

And demolished it is amazing they missed Antunis

Both Urazel and Antunis return at the back of the field, minus a wing for Urazel with Yoshimoto being the third retirement today

All the debris has picked up a casualty

Both Tafuro and Urazel safely make it back to the pits

Jantsher joins the De Boer – Ward battle

Jantsher showing no patience today, is immediately trying De Boer and I do not think he could be any closer

Standings after just 6 laps

Up the hill and De Boer outbrakes Ward

And is up safely on the inside

Both men showing us how racing should be done today

The gap to Zakes for De Boer has opened up significantly already can he make inroads

Time for a break

Welcome back to Part 2 of the Malaysian GP

We rejoin with Hunsley trying to make his way back through the field

Only a second between Vanthoor and Jantsher and the 3rd place battle

The gap however from Oakley to Copeman for the last point place is not threatening for the American

De Boer not making progress yet now he has found clear air

Jantsher using the slip stream to try on the inside of Ward into turn 1

And succeeds and moves into third place

Less than a second between Copeman and Vukcevic

Heart all over the back of Paddock again but this time they do not touch

Antunis alongside Stein into turn 4

Still alongside but Stein has the inside line into the chicane

Somewhere off camera Ward has run wide and is all the way down into 8th

Bit bullish by Antunis who has used his car as a ram to take the position from Stein

4th – 7th in one shot with plenty of racing left

Vukcevic tries a lunge on Xanthis, maybe he is feeling the heat from Copeman

And he should be that lunge has left him in Copeman’s clutches

He duly takes advantage

Vukcevic is not giving up yet

He will not find a way round the outside as Copeman just closes the gap

Standings after 18 laps

Time for the first scheduled stops and De Boer is first to blink

Followed by Jantsher from 3rd

Xanthis and Copeman come in together and it is a battle of the pitcrews

De Boer returns to the circuit in 5th just ahead of Oakley

And Jantsher in 8th but he is in the process of taking 7th from Razak who is having a quiet day in front of the home crowd

Xanthis and Copeman return in 16th and 17th respectively

Madagascar in the pits from 1st position

Zakes returns to the circuit comfortably ahead of De Boer

Vukcevic and Vanthoor pit together

And both of them come out ahead of Xanthis and Copeman a great stop for Vukcevic there

Ward is still out and yet to pit

Standings with everyone except Ward taking a scheduled stop

Copeman is so very close to Xanthis and will be looking to gain every place he can with Maverick out

Xanthis defending to Copeman, he definitely has got his tyres up to speed quicker

Tafuro and Urazel pit again but for fuel and no missing parts this time

The gap to 8th for Oakley is coming down now

While there is a second and a half between De Boer and Ward who has not pitted

Stein makes the pass on Heart in the last corner

Then makes sure by leaving Heart no room to respond into turn 1

Copeman has made a move stick up the inside on Xanthis in turn 4

This looks familiar De Boer and Ward again into the final hairpin

Again Ward forced wide but this time he has to correct the car and cannot come back at De Boer

Ward finally pits and it looks like a one stop strategy

He returns in 8th position

De Boer must be pushing too hard to catch Zakes as he has run wide through the fast double right hander

Which allows Jantsher to pass him

Vanthoor has Vukcevic all over the rear of his car

Another off camera moment we are sadly having a few of those today where Xanthis has run wide and is all the way down in 17th place

The standings as we are past the half way point

With everything that has happened suddenly Razak is in with a chance of points

Antunis trying to overtake McGregor but that looks a little far out

A warning for McGregor

Which he has not headed as Antunis has a much better run into turn 1

And plants himself on the inside of McGregor

He makes it stick

Zakes has a nice lead on Jantsher and it doesn’t look to be coming down anytime soon

McGregor has run a little wide on the exit of the last corner

Stein has better drive and makes the pass

Time for another break before the last part of the Malaysian GP

Welcome back to the final part of the Malaysian GP

We rejoin with Vukcevic and Vanthoor trying to leave Vukcevic little room

It does not stop Vukcevic getting the apex of the corner though

The tighter line though allows Vanthoor to stay ahead

Vukcevic still looking allthough no one has made a pass into the double right hander today

Hunsley is joining the battle for the last point’s position

Whereas the gap for the last podium spot is growing

Less than half a second for Razak now and the fans are really getting into this

De Boer first to pit again for the scheduled second stop

Oil leak strikes Paddock’s car and he is out of the grand prix

Vukcevic and Vanthoor pit together again as well

Copeman also coming in

De Boer returns in 4th

But bigger news the Montenegrin pit crew have pulled a blinder and Vukcevic has leapfrogged Vanthoor

Copeman rejoins in 10th

Razak has a good pit can he put the laps in to pass Oakley

Zakes pits from the lead

Rejoins 2nd behind the yet to pit Jantsher

Oakley is in the fans are anxious

Sadly for them Oakley has managed to cling onto his position against Razak

Antunis suffers a puncture and that is the end of his race

Copeman trying to get past the slower Horvath

But fails which must be frustrating for the American

Jantsher still yet to pit

The frustration has boiled over into Copeman barging Horvath and taking the place by force

Jantsher finally pits will he keep ahead of De Boer

Zakes retakes the lead

De Boer is on the home straight

He has not done enough as Jantsher has rejoined just ahead of him

The gap to Zakes is substantial and thats to the one stopping Ward

Gap coming down to Ward from Jantsher

Standings with all stops done

Jantsher means business with the fastest lap of the race

The pace shows he is alongside Ward half way up the slope to turn 4

Is there going to be room

Yes Ward gives him the space and Jantsher with more grip takes the position

It is more of Ward and De Boer now as they weave across the track for third place

Into turn 1 though De Boer makes the extra grip count and comfortable overtakes Ward

Only 1.5 seconds between him and Jantsher now

While Razak has two seconds to overturn

Another fastest lap by Jantsher

The gap to Zakes however is not closing

Two seconds between Copeman and Vanthoor which must have Maverick hoping Vanthoor can hold on

The gap between Oakley and Razak appears to be holding

While it is hard for Hunsley to be any closer he will have to shift Razak soon though

Less than a second for Copeman now to Vanthoor but very little time

Hunsley is trying but not quite

Zakes wins!

Jantsher keeps second

And De Boer rounds up the podium

Ward finishes 4th but that is not yet subject to a penalty for not pitting twice

Vanthoor holds off Copeman which will keep Maverick happy

Hunsley does at least take Razak on the last corner

More for pride as Oakley takes the last points scoring place

Still a drag race by Hunsley and Razak for 9th place though

Here are your unofficial results

So there we have it a second win this season for Zakes and a very comfortable race for Team Madagascar. As for the championship the gap has closed but Maverick still leads with none of the contenders really able to take advantage of his retirement

compared to recently, my car looked really racey out there and we hooked it up perfectly, great drive from vukcevic to get the car into 5th place!

Here are your official standings. William Ward has been given a 20 second penalty which is the length of the pitlane for only making one stop which he gained an advantage from.

Crap! Another retirement for Portugal. More points lost and the hope for a better championship position is slowing fading away...

-----------------------------------------------------

Not bad! Everytime i made mistakes though when in 1st or 2nd ... ah well :D Still 2 to go :) Still hoping for that first win!
