Your standings for the race for Round 13, I will post the championship standings after the next round. Hang about for Qualifying
Welcome all to the 14th round of the Nations Cup here in Istanbul Turkey. After a brilliant race by Hunsley in Hungary we are looking towards the last 4 rounds of the season. Time to get down to Qualifying for the Race
First man on track is contender Copeman and we will have to see how that time holds up through the day
At the moment very well as only De Boer has got within a half second
Antunis stuck in a little traffic currently forth
Heart made a mistake on his way round and is predictably last for it
Zakes is faster than Copeman in the first sector
As is Vanthoor
Also quicker in the second is Zakes
Thats pole by three and a half tenths great start for Madagascar
Tafuro has had an off on his first run
Vanthoor ends up 4th he would of lost time because of Tafuro accident
The home man Urazel puts himself 8th for now
Horvath a disappointing 18th but important slowed De Boer down
Heart sets his first real time for 15th
Standings with just Tafuro to go
Who has a slow first sector
But move onto the second row for now
Hunsley very close to Zakes time in the 1st
Only to fall away in the 2nd
And to end up 10th
Carreiro with a very nice time that is 3rd place
Vanthoor has spun off on his second run
Ward has got himself up into 6th
Standings with most people doing 2 runs and Zakes looking strong at the top for now
Copeman who is currently in second place not looking like endangering first this time
Urazel tucks himself back up into 8th again
And Copeman predictably doesn’t improve
De Boer locks up and will not improve on this hotlap
Vukcevic makes an improvement but stays in the bottom half for now
With 35 minutes to go, massive gap from 1st to last compared to all season
Paddock with a suprising 1st sector
Copeman with his last stint and chance to take pole
Paddock only ends up 14th
Whereas Carreiro with a strong second sector
But ends up not improving
Urazel improves again this time to 6th
Horvath first man to finish and is currently 14th
Copeman does not manage to uproot Zakes with his last run
McGregor is stuck in traffic for his final lap
Razak improves.... but is still last
Antunis moves up to 9th
Maverick steals that 9th place
With 4 men left Vanthoor sets a fastest first sector
Ward is very close too
Vanthoor has gone even quicker!
Oakley improves to 13th
He probably has held up Vanthoor a little he doesn’t quite take pole, losing out by less than a tenth
Urazel cannot give the home fans a last thing to cheer about today but ends up still with a good 8th
Ward the last man to go moves onto the second row
With all thats happened in Qualifying Zakes earlier blistering time was enough to hold onto the pole position

9th is...well...not bad but not good enough for the title fight. I have the feeling that this race already decides about my hopes for the title. If I end up without points again, this might be it.
