I think I have corrected the sound disappearing problem. Open the engine text file, scroll down to [Sample1D] and change Mute=0 to Mute=1. Change Sample1D ONLY. No more missing sounds

Thanks, i'll give that a try

That improved it a lot... in dry conditions.

Even when the rain was a little bit, still a dry track by water on the lens, the sound still disappeared.

I'll do more tests, but that worked well in dry conditions.

Just a reaction after testing theses sounds ingame!

Simply the best external sound I have ever heard for GP4.

It sounds exactly like on the preview video using the samples files default folder and replacing sounds and the engine.txt as said into the readme file.

Great onboards sounds too.

Any chance to get Part 2 of the "How to make a Gp4 Sound" Tutorial ?

Something is missing at lower revs. Here are good samples of what it "should" sound like, although I don't know if that can be done with the samples gp4 uses (all my captures )

oh my. I'm trying to make a "possible" soundpack for the 2001 mod, and even if I use your [Andry's] engine.txt files, I can't get my samples to play in game ! Wow, that's really hard.
