GPGSL Season 5- S6 CALENDAR VOTE RESULTS

RODRIGO VILELA "HABIBI HABIBI YA NOUR EL AIN ..."

The result of qualifying predicted a disaster in the race. The 18th place was not what we expected, because I always run well at Montreal. But rain in the race ended up helping a lot.

I always say that in a race with rain, the important thing is to keep on track. I can say it because I won lots of wet races. Thanks to this, I could mark important points. But I must emphasize, especially, the work team, with myself and the Florian (Fischeder), soon after the start of rain.

(By the way, it was not a rain. What fell in Montreal was a deluge)!

Unfortunately, Florian became involved in an incident with the car of ART, I think. Our both cars were brilliant in the race and they could finish on points zone easily. The bad-lucky of my team-mate was complete, because I had very lucky to not spin after (Norbert) Horvath hit my car on the brake, after the bridge. It was a lot of fuss, and it almost ruined my race.

In the end, seventh place rewarded the efforts of all staff. Now it's time to go to UAE, in Dubai. There certainly will be very hot. The ideal weather for our tires, like happened in Australia. Habibi!

Damn! This ART destroyed my race. ;)
In the points again :)
Well done Dean, great win and coverage, 1 point behind (Y).
SCR top of the constructors (H).
ADAM DAVIES STATEMENT

I am absolutly gutted right now. After having time to reflect on today's events I feel I must take the posatives from the experience.

The team has done a fantastic job this season helping me to settle in and perform to my best. The engine blow was just one of those things that happen in racing and I just happened to be leading the race when it happened.

I have now proven I have the ability to challenge for race wins and I am going to try my hardest to make that a reality.

I would like to thank Stu for his support.

VanSmirren Motorsports developing engines.

VanSmirren Motorsports will develop theire own engines for Season 6.
25% of the current factory staff is working on the engines which will be expected to race in S6.

"We at VanSmirren Motorsports think that it is essential for succes to build engines in-house to make sure it fits perfectly with the chassis. It also makes it easier to investigate and solve potential problems on a much earlier basis then when we have to rely on another engine firm." - Ricardo van Smirren got stated while leaving the Montreal track.

Hmmm, could have been a better and a worse weekend for the team, but that's really bittersweet what happened to Adam. So sorry for you. Nick's 4th place is, I think, the best that we could hope for under these circumstances. Let's simply hope for better luck in the next race.

6th place by Alex is great, but such a shame Charrel came together with Fischeder in the closing stage of the race..

the crash was caused from the wet asphalt.florian couldn't handle the car at 100% at the braking point and crashed into you,no need to apologize from any side;)

I Dont agree, If your driver cant handle his car its no excuse.. Wet asphalt or dry conditions, only overtake when you can..
Next time he should be be more careful, for me and for himself ;)
