GPGSL Season 5 Round 13: Adelaide - Australia > Free Practise

Boys and girls, welcome to round 13 of the championship here in Adelaide. After a 3 season absence Adelaide is back on the calendar. Hopefully this race won't be a drama as in season 1, hence the long absence. With pretty big rain chances and for being round 13 of the championship the forecast is not that great.

There has been a big shuffle with the test drivers for this round. The biggest change is without doubt the move of current championship leader Johnson from TSS to MPR. If we believe team boss Pellat of TSS, it's all part of "The Grand Plan". We'll wait and see. Enough "ditjes & datjes" like the Dutch say, let's go to the track for some action!


With dry conditions the test drivers have the gods on their side. The RD pushes the green button and the session is started:



Hinz of BFM is the first one out on the track, closely followed by ART team boss Renselaar:



It's no surprise that Hinz sets the fastest time:



Renselaar beats Hinz's time and takes pole. Van Smirren takes third position:



Mills takes fourth:



Warrington takes pole position! Very good lap:



But not for long, Elleker takes first spot by a small margin, what a debut for TSS:



Muller takes seven, but he is pretty off pace:



Same for Somogyi with a 8th place for now:



Fischeder back in his role as test driver sets a solid 6th place:



Yeah, Ingers sets the fastest time! The AMR boys are taking it seriously:



Hunsley is an another one with a weak performance:



Respectable time for McGregor:



Johnson only in 10th place, that's not so good:



Sheppard takes place 13, do you feel lucky?



Schroeder does it seems:



Maikel "HAI, MAIKEL DE BOER!!!" de Boer with a good 7th place:



IED's Walters is also making team boss Gault very happy:



Also MPR is off pace like IED, Paddock is only 15th:



Pedersen is taking 5th spot, great lap:



Vukcevic grabs 16th place, not a bad debut in the super league:

5th sofar....quite happy.

A good debut for Mirko, looks like he will have good pace.

8th so far, not bad at all! Also Mirko doing pretty well for a first run in 16th! Still the session aint over, anything can happen when times are so close

Mills is the first one out on the track again:

Muller taking revenge regarding my bad words about him:



Hinz moving up to 7th spot:



Greidanus jumps from 10th to 5th place, great improvement:



Hunsley is now 12th



Elleker sets his second place time a bit sharper:



Walters is doing better, but it only brings him 16th place:



Pedersen lost his 5th place and is now 7th:



Sheppard leaves last spot to move only to 21th place:

Johnson is so quick that the RD isn't able to take a snapshot of his lap. It must be quick one:



Pedersen takes second spot! The gap is very small:

This post is by Icky, I literally was posting the race for nations cup and forgot to switch sorry for any confusion

So am I running the Tester's role as well as the actual race seat as well? I can only assume this is the case, given the "vacant" testers seat at TNR, since my elevation to a race seat??
