It becomes more difficult year by year!!

DRS and KERS have a significant impact to lap times, especially for qualifying. In addition to that, it seems that the use of (mainly) DRS have a greater impact to some tracks than to others, making it very difficult to come up with some decent physics to pair with the performance files.

That is the reason why, this year, Cyberacer and i decided to publish two set of physics, the usual pair for prime- and option-tyres, to be used for most of the tracks (at least, so far!!) and an additional pair with reduced drag to simulate the DRS impact, which is to be used for certain tracks (Albert Park and Shanghai out of the first 6 races) where, for various reasons, the use of DRS significantly alters the lap times. Those tracks will be extra mentioned in every subsequent release, so PLEASE READ THE README !!!

The package contains:
1. The 2011 physic files by Cyberacer (with a small contribution by me)
2. The pre-season testing performance files (Cheste, Jerez, Catalunya 1 and Catalunya 2)
3. The season performance files for the first 6 races so far (Albert Park to Monaco)

Please note:
As always, my performance files have the goals to:
1. Replicate the pole-sitter (Q3) quali time (at ace level, with a 4 lap run) using the option physics (using the prime physics for quali you should get the best Q1 time but with less accuracy)
2. Replicate the race result and not the best race lap times, especially when combined with "GP4 Failure Editor" to get the retirements in grip.

As you see, HRT performances are steadily worse than Virgin's, who are steadily worse than anybody else's.
So you generally won't be much wrong if you take the [Team#10] performance for either HRT or Virgin, by just changing the names!!
By the way, this is what i do in my personal CSM-mod, that is changing the names in the performance files according to the selections of the mods configurables!

Hello for all MASTERS of GP 4 WORLD.I dont know how to put the performance files in my GP4 .I read the txt fiel but i dont see any performance file in my GPXDATA fodler.I see only performance files in my GPSAVES folder 1994 MOD.And my last question is How to load the Pfysics files.Thank you very much for any advice

It depends on the mod you are using. Usually, you just have to copy the performances and physics into the mod's performance directory. You just may have to match the file names to the tracknames defined in your "globalvars.ini" file!

But, if you are using Konstantin's, Diego's and Tony's 1994 mod, you have to do some editing to match the naming convention they are using, because those names are hardwired into the various settings files of the mod. To be sure, just copy and paste the performance values into the corresponding places of the original files!!!!!
And last but not least, rename the physics file to "csmphysics.g3p"

i will definitely do the rest of the season, including the planed young driver test in Abu Dhabi, so there is more to come. I don't know when, because of some personal life and because i'm considering readjusting the physics now that we have more data about the DRS effect.
In the meanwhile, the way this season develops, you can use the generic file with a relative good accuracy (Vettel wins, followed by Webber, Alonso, Button and Hamilton - if he's not crushing out!).

Regarding set-up's, well, they are not my forte, i would need for myself some decent setups for tracks like Marina Bay or Nurburgring!

Don't you have complete performance files for Lotus, HRT and Virgin?

There are no complete performances for these three teams, because there is no point on doing so! The performance data included in my performance files are those of the best finisher for each race, and even those are, in some cases, manipulated, because GP4 cannot handle big differences in performance data! The real performance data of these teams, in most of the races, are in the region of 11000-12000, and if you feed GP4 with such data it results on having what i call "sitting ducks" on the track!

In 2011 the results of these three teams are by far better than last year, especially for Lotus, so this time i provide, besides the normal performance file with the "best finishers", an additional file including the performance data for each of the three teams for every race!
