Some thoughts in preparation of the 2014 season:
all of the sources i have tend to the assumption that the new power-trains (engine+ERS) will have about the same horse power as the V8s, therefore i plan not to change the figures in the performance files. But the torque characteristics is going to be totally different, so we need someone to make a brand new V6T.cap (this is an appropriate name, isn't it?) to replace the V8.cap, which is no longer applicable.
The other thing we have to agree, now that the numbering system has changed, is the driver order for each team. I am planing to adopt the system that, car#1 is the lowest of the numbers and car#2 is the highest of the numbers, no matter who the driver is (that means for Mercedes Rosberg #1 and Hamilton #2, for Marussia than Chilton is #1 driver and Bianchi #2 etc.). But we have to agree on that, because it has an affect on car/menudata/gpaedia etc. so it has to be unique!

The only thing that necessarly has to have the same structure is the gpaedia I think. Cars wouldn't be a big problem, as one simply can switch the car1/car2 in the lod names. Teamart too just needs to be renamed if it doesn't fit. More work though, but doable.

it is a long time you haven't hear anything from me, but this doesn't mean i have forgotten about the community! I just have been too busy, trying to survive in this cruel world
Anyway, i have just uploaded the 2015 pre-season performance files (incl. physics and torque) for everyone interested!
I probably forgot to mention that the Performance Files for 2014 season are also complete and uploaded (incl. pre-season, mid-season and young-driver testing).
Physics, torque and some magic data are also included !

checks (in FI, Hulkenberg comes first... Sauber is not the 9th Squadron, but the 8th) and missing 11Kg in this physics (702Kg, minimum weight at all events).

i am aware of the FIA entry list, but i think it is a bit inconsistent. All the drivers are listed in ascending order of their numbers (considering that Hamilton has the #1) except of FI, which is strange.
Regarding Sauber, i think they just added Marussia (Manor) to the bottom of the list, because of the late confirmation. Their driver numbers has also to be settled.
For those reasons i made two assumptions: teams are listed in 2014 championship order and drivers are listed in ascending race number order.
Lets wait for the official Melbourne starting list, before making any adjustments!
As for the minimum weight, of course you are wright, i corrected it, and it will go out with the next update!
