Performance Files 1994-2023 (2023 RELEASED)

It seems to me that the Performance files are used in Hotseat-Mode - because the Players cars have different laptimes while driven by the Computer.

And of course I get the same qualifying times when each car has 855 BHP when I drive the cars in qualifying.


But what happens if I Change the BHP ?? Do you have any experience with that??

in a race, if you lower your bhp to 800 (for example) you will be underpowered and should not be able to keep up with the ai.
the opposite (rising your bhp to f.e. 900) is not necessarily true because of the rev limit (in physics and torque).

the behavior you describe in your post looks to me as if the ai is having a differentiation over the perf file, but the player car goes just over the physics, but as i said before, i don't have any experience with hotseat-mode!

anyway, if my assumption is right, then by editing the physics file, you should still get same laptimes for all of your (player) cars, but different from the ones before. i'm not quite sure, how this will affect the ai!

I have made a compatible version for Araï shape (based on Jvinu textures), for a personal use. I will try to improve it before to ask authorization for a public release, if he wants to publish it...

Sorry, i can't reproduce it, it downloads as usual.

Have you tried to get the file over an older direct-link or through my signature-link? (current performance files change constantly their names to reflect the actual stand, so an older direct-link will not work after an update)

Anyway, the next update (Sochi) will be available in the next days!
