Oooo 8th and 16th. Not bad but seeing from testing times it could've been a little better. Still long way to go yet :D

Weather: Cloudy. Track Dry.

The lights are about to go green.


Matt Houston takes the lead, a bold passing move on turn one.




On-board with Kevin Schroeder in second place.


Houston sets the first fastest lap of the race.

Aleksander runs into the mayhem, loses his front wing. An unscheduled pit-stop is in order.




Hinz loses out altogether, shunted out by his team mate.


Aleksander leaves the pits in twentieth place.




Houston is on a roll as he puts in another fastest lap.


Top eight on lap twelve.


Ingers' gearbox fails and he is forced to park it up.


Santilal loses the plot badly.

The final lap, van Smirren looks set to win the Melbourne Grand prix.

Yeah, 4th is good. I'm quite pleased with that, as it's a new team, and all that. And 6th for Ed is good too.

Phoenix did OK. Zak, good drive mate. I know you'll be faster once you see our new car. Mal, that's a brilliant finish! Good job on getting some points, mate.

It's my summer holidays now, so the Phoenix livery should be finished, rendered and presented by this time next week.
