Hey Lo2K! It would be nice to get a proper gpxSAT for 1982 season. I have been downloading full 80´s races from the web, and i´ve noticed the TV infos about gaps etc, were quite primitive in those days. But it would be great to have to give that era proper TV feel to this mod.

Maybe i know a little bit how much work it is to make a mod, and maybe i had some doubt if this mod would ever come alive. (sorry about that)
But you have done it, and may be proud of it, although i haven't tried the mod yet but well done

At the moment we are working on some '80's track and of course when they are done, you can use them for your trackpack.
Now i will try this cars on Brands Hatch, that will be fun

Must be a thing about 82 mods. I remember when the 82 mod came out for GP3. That was amazing all those years ago also, but this is awesome.

One slight issue I am having is that I seem to be really slow compared to some cars. I put my foot down out of a bend and cars just fly past me like I have no power. This even when driving a turbo car. My top speed is way down compared to other cars and they all seem to accelerate a lot faster than me, again in a turbo car. Is anyone else having this issue? Only thing stopping me fully enjoying the mod.

I thought that happens because I was driving a Williams...

Hi Pedro,

I'm still around, but dont spend much time here but i follow most things on the forum.
The mod is great, and real fun to drive, i'm very pleased with the cars, they are fantastic

About the tracks; here some screens on BH, a tribute to your work;







The track is ready for 95% for the WSPC mod, but the changed the track a bit in '88 (Dingle Dell/Westfield Bend) but i have the right dat already.
So for '82 it need some changes, so i will change the advertisment and some buildings, it will not take too much time. I think you can have this track sooner than the WSPC version will be released. Another one is Dijon, in progress at well. But that will take some time before it's done.
I will send you a pm about the progress and if you want to try the track already, you know how to find me...

Yep, very impressive work, MarioB. I really like all the pit stand stuff, 3D kerbs, HD trees and their great smooth shadows and the fake ambiant occlusion in grass at rails roots

Outstanding piece of art, i wonder how you managed to have the Indy part of the circuit also as a bin file so it machted perfectly the rest of the track. Will the armco barriers stay 2D or later be turned into 3D barriers?

i love this mod! Would be great to have more tracks.

I spent a couple hours today playing on nixblickers long beach with no tc and manual gears... Good times!

for me selecting lods makes the cars.wad not load properly and crash GP4.exe has anyone else had any problems like this?
