Are you sure that the layout is as accurate as you can get it? If you have any small worries about it, it's best to get them fixed now, before you build anything else. If you're sure, then everything is all good :)

Another seemingly small (but oh so important) thing, is making sure you put the sun (and it's related shadows) in the correct position and direction. This helps a lot to complete the accurate feel of a track. I've seen so many tracks where the sun and shadows are placed randomly, completely ruining a track.

well, i think it is almost impossible to make a track 100% accurate. there are some guys in the community who can reach 99%, sadly i´m not one of them. i hope the layout is ok (depends on the map i used), it´s the best i could do. pimpones1 had nothing to complain about so it can´t be that bad. i will rebuild the cc-line, i´m not quite happy with it, the rest will remain i´d say.

about the sun, should be possible do find the correct position.
well

im not a master on building tracks.. as you say.. SADLY im not that good.. but i ll have a lotta fun with our track.

Berger gave me an awesome help with phoenix.. he has the ´´EYE´´ for clinical stuffs.. and after we finish the track.. im gonna ask him to put his skills on our track..HES GOOD.. i know that.

that´s it.. whatever FONGU SAYS...

if you dont like it, dont use it eheheh

cheers you all

It's refreshing to see the way you guys work together on this. If more track makers had an attitude like this we would see a lot more good, new circuits...:)

for some reason it looses its orientation when exporting it from z-modeler but i´ll fit it into the .dat after mapping.

n00binio, I suggest you use these (estimated) values for sunlight direction:

X -0.20
Y +0.53
Z -0.82

I can give more accurate values if you post a screen with top (ortographic) view of the dat file.

Good luck with the project :)

The track is almost in the opposite direction I thought before, so these values should be more correct:

X +0.18
Y -0.54
Z -0.82
