im trying to update my cars.wad to the 2006 season

thanks to jmpfw for starting me off and helping!

but can someone tell me which order to put the 2006 cars in - eg
Renault would be car_ferrari_car1_lod1 etc
Mclaren would be car_mclaren_car1_lod1 etc

Can someone please tell me the rest?

You can use teameditor to change the order fo the teams, so that you mclarens have mclaren lod names etc

i think that's the wrong example, as mclarens do have mclaren lods in 2006 order

@jpmfw: Paolo, when you do those screenies showing the latest cars such as the RA106, what kind of textures you are using - the low ones (512x...) or the mids (1024x...) or the high (2048x...) ?

I was thinking about resizing all my texs (cars+helmets) to 512x to improve the performance, but I am worried because I dont want to lose the texture quality...

high 2048 my friend,wherever possible, the fw28 that Mitsuro and myself are working on will have super high , high and medium textures

OMG how can you play in such conditions? I tried to play at hockenheim 2005 by mariob and my cars with 1024x texs and the Processor Occupancy shooted up at the start of the race, the game just became unplayable until the first corner :S

How much can I lose with 512x texs?
