well i never buy a nvidia graphic card in my life cause had many troubles with the 6800 GS one and ATI rocks anyway

ATI, never had any trouble with any of the ones i`ve had, and i`ve had a few

simple,
Nvidia=performance
ATI=Quality

Nvidia is good for performance like adventure games which are dependent on OPENGL and not bad in DIRECT X.

ATI is good for RACING and games which are dependent on DIRECTX and except few many are poor performer's in OPENGL games when compared to Nvidia.

Do you systematically update your Graphic card with the last driver (Catalyst 6.9 now for ATI)or not.

I never did it (I have X800 since 2 years..)and has it work perfectly I wonder if the risk is not big to have something wrong after..

Does it improve something in GP4 display ?

well i update the drivers now and then, saying i visit the ati site once a month when an update is available i install it but i don't see much improvements in the game but the stability is better with new drivers. Of course the official one that are released and not the beta onces.
