I'm sorry if this topic has been done before, but :

Is there anyone out there with a f1graphics.cfg suited for very high end systems?

My specs are in my sig, and it should be more than enough to handle anything!

Cheers :)

Dan

well, i can send you mine. Not the best for graphics, however, it looks as good as ever (I dont use dynamic env maps), and will get you good performance.

Those 3 2048 tex cars can be demanding.

I'm just after something that gives the best possible graphics, I'm not _too_ bothered about performance, because if push comes to shove, I might splurge my Student loan on a new PC Setup :E

When i said performance take that with a grain of salt. I find it works great, YET, i still cant tell the difference between others, its highly tuned.

Are there any key parts to this file that either slow the game or improve graphics for little speed.

Thanks for the file Lee. I've tried it myself and it works fantastic. I've got a Nvidia 7600gt and it's hard to believe I'm playing the same game. The graphics are so much more crisp.

I did that but how do I edit the file with that? As I can't paste it into the graphics.cfg file.

Thanks from,

Mike.

Open notepad, open the windows explorer, then go to your GP4 Folder, and make slide your F1graphics.cfg files to the notepad.

Thanks for the help and the graphics file it is amazing. The textures before looked a bit rough but now are as clean as the 2005 mod I had before.

Thanks from,

Mike.

Hi, sorry for posting this old thread, but i got several bugs with that graphics.cfg from Lee... i've solved almost every of them by editing it.
But I still can't see the loadingpictures, they just quickly flash but then they disappear, this doesn't happen if i use the original graphics.cfg... is there someone who can tell me what to edit to get them back... thanks.
