Engines shall NOT be equal next season as the formula simply wasnt varied enough - As a result an adapted formula shall be used next season which is very similar to the one we are currently using except there is a lesser performance increase per result( a win for example would have previously meant about 7BHP increase it shall now be about 5BHP I think). At the beginning of next season teams shall carry over a small percentage of this season's points but this shall still decrease the gap from 1st to last quite significantly so PWR will be much closer to the pack if not ahead of some teams

Thanks for correcting me, Tom. I am pretty sure the championship will continue very tight, tighter this next season than mid-late of this past season

The team numbers are end S1 for S1 teams & S2 starter for new S2 teams, driver numbers are S2 starter for new drivers and end S1 for the remainder. Still a lot to do on it. The team names and driver line-up should be correct.

i knopw the perf file is WIP but shouldn't PWR have at least a SLIGHT team advantage on devil fox racing?

after all my team has competed in 3 more races and got14 more points and has 100% more reliability than devil rox racing.

The figures dont mean anything yet - That was mainly posted to ensure all the drivers and teams names were spelt correctly

Got some pretty cool season reports planned for the website, the first of which is up already along with a vid of the best pics of the season [www.world300.tk] or [www.freewebs.com]

The 2006 CSM set is all but ready for release too and it is AB FAB!! Keep an eye out for it coz this is a must have for all competitors

Don't worry about the figures yet guys, it's possible that PWR will end up on the base team perf due to the overall reduction, or at the very least will be slightly above, I haven't got that far yet, and Ed, the base perf has changed for you because I think you transfered, is that not so? I'll have another look at yours when I get there. Jithendra Shenoy is a rookie so he will start on the base S2 perf for drivers, your perf may have had the transfer penalty applied which is possibly why your figures are lower than the starter perf, and it will not stay that way as it is lower, so the amount will change upwards for you.
The calculations so that the top teams stay slightly ahead without compromising the mid-field or the rookies is proving to be a difficult task and it will take me some time to get it right for everyone. It is also my intention to close up the gap between 1 and 23 so they will be tighter, the points formula for the teams will change as well, Tom and I have decided that for the W300 S2 the total driver points will be divided by 3 instead of 4, then added to the teams BHP, that way ALL teams will find it equally harder to reach that BHP cap The failure range subtraction will remain the same for the teams. The drivers points system also remains unchanged. Tests on the physics have shown that realistic lap times will be attained for teams once the cap is reached. It was expected that the system would need a bit of tweaking after the first seasons had finished and we may tweak again as we go. thats it for now, havagoodweekend, might fire up the bb cam later

so you will have whatever points you have gained multiplied by a certain percentage, and that will be added to the 16020 .

For everyone:

16020+x, where x equals to perf file by season's end minus 16020, multiplied by the % number.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Marc A came to me with the idea of revivingthe old WGP/W300 forum and so, after a little tidying up, it is raring to go once more. It is not looking to replace the GPG forum which shall remain the hub but should enable more discussion and orgnaisation around the series. W300 races have been archived so you can now revisit them without going serching through this place, there isb a place for team announcements and for official series announcements.
