@turbo lover...
damn i lost my notebook regarding fences...
Basically you can do this:

1) use fence tga from TTm melbourne as reference
2) Build fist sectors of vertical fences and assigne the fence.tga
3) now you have to build the second part of the fence.. If i'm right i used a -0.3 value for vertical mapping but you can do some test, it is very very user friendly ;)

The problem is when i use for example 0.7 as V mapping the texture is mapped in a reverse way, with other words; instead the last 0.3 of the texture is not shown, the first 0.3 of the texture is not shown.

When i use -0.7 the mapping is correct, but the texture is flipped.

@Turbo Lover:
"with other words; instead the last 0.3 of the texture is not shown, the first 0.3 of the texture is not shown."
It's quite obvious as texture coordinates are starting at top-left position. So to get the bottom part of the texture you need to set head V mapping to 0.3 and foot V Mapping to 1.

"When i use -0.7 the mapping is correct, but the texture is flipped."
Same answer as above but you can anyway use this setting and un-flip texture after using the mapping quick edit button present in the Parts windows (behind part texture preview).

Some time ago i was asking this:

"One more question, is it possible to select multiple faces? If so, you also can move them with a falloff value for creating nice height changes to land around the track?"

Laurent's answer:

"Yep, falloff could be a possibility but meshes created with fence builder have too less faces to be edited this way (without subdivision). But I still havn't found any good solution for land creation so far..."

I took a look at RealGPx and it seems that you found a solution for it if i am not mistaken. I could kiss you Laurent. ;)

I've forgotten where to get the .jip mapping tga files so they can be seen in GP4Builder. Where do I get them from??

I knew I have forgotten something with latest releases...
OK, I put .tga jipmapping files here.

is there any chance that the fence builder could remember the last sector range you used, as it does for height and other settings?

So, when searching for that template file on my old disks i did recover a track i was once working on. I'ts far from perfect but may be fun. The only big bug it had is when you are on the starting grid, the tarmac up to the s/f-line is missing. After the first lap it is there. Any idea whether there is a quick fix for this?
Maybe i can release it when i fix this.

quick fix is easy, recreate .bin file from .dat (but be sure to use same HD settings (if any) than when you previoulsy converted .dat to .gp4)

Hmm I don't know if this has been asked here before, but you know that bump at Monaco where the drivers swerve right then left to avoid it after casino sqaure? In GP4 2001 the cars just go straight over it without swerving. Can anyone please make it so they swerve right then left like in real life? Thanks :)

i have a problem with the lastet GP4Builder.
when i convert the .dat to a .col file, i see pitcrews.
But when i convert the .gp4 file i don't see the pitcrews. what is wrong?

KTC: that bug happens when there is no pitfloor on the .col file.

To solve it you need to build the pitfloor in the .gp4 file and make it TRACK_ or PITLANE_ class, so it gets converted to .col.
