IMPORTANT TRACK QUESTION FOR GPG SUPERLEAGUE
Might as well ask here.
When doing testing for GPGSL mod I've noticed that teams have different set ups. I'm using the 2007 f1 trackpack where the Barca TSM set ups for AI are fw 16 rw 10, but in game some teams have rear wing set to 9 others 10 and 11. It influences perfomance. How do I make sure that ALL teams have 10 and 16? What is the variance that controls this?
Prblanco confirmed what I assumed that GP4 was made that way, but is it possible to change it so that every team would be on the same setup and how?

GPGSL career;
Current team: Team ShadowSubaru, Previous teams: MPR, Minardi
starts:100 Wins: 12, Podiums: 34, Fastest Laps: 14, poles: 12 Points: 708
winner of Belgian GP (s1), Australian GP (s1), Canadian GP (S1), Brazilian GP(s4, s5), Hungarian GP(s3), Italian GP(s3), French GP (s5,s7), Monaco GP (s4) and USA GP

i went through a magic data file and i didn`t spot anything related to variations in setups. there are a lot of unused values left i don`t know if it could be related to one of them. but on the other hand, it seems to be random, as with the variation in perf files so i`d take it as it is.

@BAR:
How did you find out that the teams had different setups?

Magic data has only the option to adjust the setup for AI and Player car in dry and rainy conditions...I would have thought that all cars use the same setup then...all in all that's 4 different setups...2 for AI and 2 for player.
But n00binho is right, there are still a lot of unknow values in the magic data...maybe the control also some setup parameters.

I believe you can make them shorter without any problem, but not longer (that will get you some kind of error somewhere).

I download the plus developer pack for Hungaroring 1991. after add in my gp4 files the NBUILD_PLUS_Pitstands when i'm going to seve, GP4 builder 1.181 says me that this gp4 file crash in game cause this objects has too much faces.
How i can reduce the faces for NBUILD_PLUS_Pitstands (i'm not good with Zmodeler o something else) or someone has one ready to use it?

@Turbo Lover : You can't actualy.

@Rot teufel : simply create a new scene and import the plus pack in this new scene.

yes, it's possibile, i done one (Canberra). The conversion process is similar to TRD2 conversions, but i don't remember where's is the guide...

You need:

- 3d Simed (to open and convert .gmt files into 3ds files)
- 3d Milkshape (to import 3ds files and export those again in 3ds)
- A lot of patience and passion

and any image tool that convert dds files into tga to see those in gp4 builder.

Just like any other conversion you have to always build the
.dat from scratch following the track layout of 3d objects
showing the layout.

With gp4builder alone you cant unless you do a track from scratch.
For conversions you need several other tools and you need pay for them.
