Shadows do that for me a bit - I just change scene, or make sure they aren't under or too near the ground

solved...
i had to export shadows to 3ds, then open with zmod and save to gp4, and then reimport in gp4builder...

It would have been quicker to simply invert faces creation for the shadows objects.

you can even check if faces are facing you or not by enabling Wire +front face in options, this way all the faces that are upside-down might only be displayed as wireframe while the good faces will be display with texture.

PS: It's fixed for next revision.

Simply recreate .col file from your monaco .dat file.

OK!
I changed tarmac (brown color) of pit-lane and pit-verge of Monaco.
The shadows of the cars and the texture of pit-verge are correct.
But the texture of pit-lane does not appear, in game is with the texture of asphalt.
I already created the archive .col and the archives .bin
How to correct?

Of course, (as written in the guide) pitlane and track objects are replaced by their .bin counterparts ingame.
So the way to display ingame .gp4 pitlane tarmac object is to either open the pitlane.bin file and to move every vertice below the .gp4 tarmac (approximately) or/and to rename pitlanexx objects in the track to anyname ("pittarmacxx" might do the trick).

Yep, and the two parts together have a V mapping of 1.

@Lo2k:

When there is a crossing layout (f.e. Suzuka) the car on the bridge is in a shadow, which actually should be existent only under the bridge. How can I fix this? We also had this with gildoorf's Pasargada track but I can't remember if it was fixed or not.

I don't know for shadows, I would suggest to check suzuka's bridge shadows to see its propreties.
