World Grand Prix: The Fantasy Racing Series - New Revised Plan v1.0

After talks with alot of you guys here, i've had my thinking cap on and come up with a new revised plan for the series.

THE WORLD GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONSHIP
-------------------------------------------------------------------
A fully fictionial racing championship using Teams managed by real people and Drivers of real people (like you guys).
How to become a team manager / driver will be explained later.
The series will use the max. of 11 teams / 22 drivers / 17 race circuits slots. any new teams / drivers / tracks that are
created after all the slots are filled will be put into the WGP database system and can't enter the series until a slot becomes open.
There will be a Drivers WGP Title and a Teams WGP Title.
Also a points system for the Teams and Drivers will be given after each season (like prize money).
Teams & Drivers will get point rewards after every race, the points then goes towards the title result.
A contract system, database log and storage system will be controlled by the WGPG (me) to insure everythings in order and fair.

which will be displayed for GP4 and non GP4 users alike.

TEAM MANAGE:
Becoming a team manage is pretty easy and they don't have to have GP4 in order of becoming one.

The team manager doesn't have to make the car and textures because the WGPG can always do it for them (great for people who
can't), but if they (team managers) can build their own then thats great.
The team manager will work on a points system.

The Team Manager will start with a set number of points.
These points work as prize money, at the end of a season, the season's prize money is then added to the team managers points,
which can get higher and they (team managers) can have a better performing team in the next season.
The WGPG works out all this, so the team manager has an easier life.

DRIVER:
Becoming a driver works different, again they don't have to have GP4 to be a driver (these guys will be using WGPG's AI with there
own performance file).
But drivers with GP4 will have the chance to be in the races themselfs using hotlaps (with fair rules) and the season's mod that will have all of the team
and driver information. (thats why permission from authers is needed)

The information sent to a Driver will also ask for a helmet design (without sponsors)
Again if a driver can't design a helmet, then the WGPG can do one for them.
The driver also works on a points system to make in performance files fair to others

All the teams and driver will be listed and then the teams can contact the WGPG to discuss the drivers they want in there team.
The driver can also contact the WGPG about a possible seat or see which racing slots are open.

Any new track for a season will be downloadable from the website, so drivers and team are fully up to date.

think it just got overcomplicated with all the points for stuff... stuff :p

This was the other idea i had:

No Team Manager or Driver points system, Only race points for the title.
The WGP Launch Car will be the main carshape for any new team, A team manager will get a templete of the WGP LC
to paint.
They can use any sponsorship they like.
All team textures are sent back to the WGPG to be entered.
Unlimited number of teams can enter.

Team Performances will be the same:

Qualifying Power 950HP
Qualifying Range 3450
Race Power 900HP
Race Range 3450

Drivers will still design they race helmets in hi-res or super hi-res
Any Personal Fantasy Carshapes are welcome.

Drivers also run the same performances:

Qualifying Power 16000
Qualifying Range 500
Race Power 16000
Race Range 500

Everything else in Revised V1.0 will be the same.

Here's the WGP LC that the series will hopefully use (just need wai permission to use it, it's his f2003ga modified for the WGP)

Yeah, would quite like to have a go, but can't be arsed with points and stuff, plus the sponsors section is always going to be either far too restrictive or stupidly large and hard to manage.

Jonny, you don't need a wheel. Basically, it will be the AI with our names racing each other, and the results will be posted and perhaps a race gallery will happen. Understand now?
