first you have to download the right track and the you can write your opinion...
new one is called 1.5

Oh yes. The track is great. I hadn't noticed that folder in the archive and the graphics hadn't been updated =)

Can somebody please talk me through, step by step, getting this track to work with the 2005 update?

Ive tried one or two things in this thread what ive read and although i end up with the circuit the cars follow the original layout.

the dat. file has to be in the circuits folder.
I think it has nothing to do with an update or a carset manager or something else...
it stands in the readme, how to install the track...

@Sadler: No there is something to do with it if you use CSM!!!!

Search for Shanghai track or Shanghai A1 ring and read all the posts:
The solution is in there somewhere!!!

Fantastic work this, i was happy to see the straight fixed :D Fantastic, i did a 7 lap race and spun off were i ususually do, at the imola chicane lol.

or maybe Nurburgring or Hungary?
what about the new pit-entry for albert-park; it is not too hard, but would improve the realism of the game
