to me it seems that it's .col file problem (last corner bug )...

*.col files manage the kind of surface (behaviour) for the different parts of the track

I load down all 24 pieces with my modem, installed them and started the game with
GPxPatch. I wanted to do a Quick Race, the steering wheel goes crosswise and I can
not start. If I choose no driver the race starts, what do I wrong ?!
Thanks in advance for an answer.

Happy racing from Germany !!!

@GPGeneration: If you need some help to solve some bugs, you can ask me about it (lauri2000 at free.fr) if you can't find any solution.

About the mixed tarmac on first shot, I would think it's due to the fact tarmac .gp4 object is not called TRACKxx and thus is not hidden by the game.
It's fine if you do not use .bin file but if you use the .bin, you should name this part TRACKxx.

better editing the magic file , raising the track grip and reducing the fuel consumption or cars will not finish the race

nice to see the hardcore guys are aiming the problems.
my probs:
i lost control over the car in the downhill-curve because theres a bump...
whats with the offtrack tarmac-parts? they feel like gras or gravel. isnt it possible to create flat curb, colored and mapped with tarmac, which will replace the gravel and gras parts?
how did ricardo solve this prob?

the run-off areas can be made into tarmac editing the *.col file, which isn't that hard, maybe tiring, but not hard.
