beta test Bahrein track online (with care)

OK, things are working so well I think everyone could have a try on it.

I just made a 3 lap quickrace and everything ran fine BUT be aware that this is a beta testing package, don't blame me or Maverick for any bug, we DO NOT provide any support for this tool.

This package has a notes.txt file.
I'm sure everyone will read it carefully but for those who still havn't downloaded it yet, I want to warn you that you will need to backup files (important step ), extract a file from a wad, edit it slightly following notes steps and then update wad with some files.

Yep, it's a BETA, not a full automatic install.

A last thing I forgot in notes : Amongst the ton of bugs, they are trees and cranes trough the road, it's normal

Now I thougt I was going to be the first person (second after lo2k) to drive arround the track... Who putted that ramp on the track??

One tip: stay at the right side of the track guys

hehe, well thats not really a ramp, thats the pitlane exit you're hitting, it's a bit higher than the rest of the track, i havent lowered it yet. the're another much nicer jump a few corners ahead thats where the track height alterations stop.
Stupid thing is, my wad wont load after importing the stuff into my gp4 file, i problably forgot somthing, how stupid is this, people having the gfx on my track before i even have them

oh btw, dont expect the cc's to finish a lap

Well, I slightly rebuilt the whole cc-line

@Jorn: nice video even if you forgot (or choosed not) to update the texture 315 I gave in the pakage

i'll try it out then. BTW i allready completed laps on this track when the road wan;t even visible for the human eye a month ago, beat that :P

i tried the track and its amazing. ok, its buggy and i believe there is about 90% work still to do. but its anyway amazing!!

laurent, about the CCLine i love you, you made my day, and i cant wait till you share me the secret (i'll be awaiting your email ) cause i've been looking to it in 3deditor but i cant figure out how you did it, did you finally 100% cracked the cc code? looks like it.

allso about the col file. i love you, and you made my day i think huge steps in gp4 trackmaking have been made today

(oh the gp4 generating is nice too :+ )

I just updated the package (same link) to v0.11, giving you the tex file instead of the tga (that was obviously not visible in game in v0.1) and adding the 2 limitations explanations I forgot in v0.1

@Tig3r025: 90% of easy job to do I would say.

@Maverick: ccline has been rebuilt manually but .col is also auto-generated from .dat

How big that file should be?

I know you are rather busy, I was wondering if you could help me. Following the Instructions for the track readme to install the track. I installed 3d Editor, latest version from your site, when going to access the exe i get the following error can you help me out by telling me how to solve the errors

Any chance someone could upload the updated Melbourne.wad? becuase im having trouble installing it and no doubt theres more people.
