@lardybloater: you use latest graphical card driver and thus should have openGL 2.0 installed on your computer but my tools (as others) do not handle it. So if you want to make them working, simply revert to a slight older driver with openGL 1.5x (some of our Realgpx visitor got back from 5.3 to 5.1 catalyst and that did the trick).

@Six degrees: Yep, your melborne textures are no more in original order (or is it me ?), that's why you got such result :)
try using a backup of the original melborne.wad instead :)

I figured out those two things, but i cant get any viewable ccline from what you made, so i guess you made some changes to your ccline code of 3deditor?

odd that the ccs just "warp" over them tho, I lose loads of time flying about in the air :( :p

anyhoo it's great progress, just as I was getting pissed off with gp4 too ;)

@Maverick: I don't make fun of them, I like them because they are the fun part of this initial release and that's why I havn't fixed them so far :)
Anyway, cc-cars perfectly get rid of them :p

Great work guys! I didnt try the track and in fact I dont have to because I can now see that its possible to make new track and I am enough patient to wait for final product. Now, when you came so far, can we expect new layouted Barcelona, Monaco and other well known tracks? Guys I congratulate you once more, this has been one of the best days in my life! Well, you can insert any magic file but I dunno what for...
You can try to rename them, else the best way is to swap .dat files (renamming them that's true) but updating the a1ring2001 wad and .gp4 instead of melborne2001 files.

@Webber Fan: Nothing has changed that much, new tracks and layout updates are still dependant to time and work passed working on them, just a bit less now than before.

only using magic files you can make ai cars gofast as you want calculate the numer of pit and when to do it , fuel consumption , track grip speed on straight , tire whearing and gears all things that are basical for the new track
