It's really sad two of our members leave so soon quickly after one another. However as Chris says, real life comes first. I wish you and Connor all the best in whatever you do.

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
I promise I'll sort the activity check tomorrow; I've not long got home and as a result I'm shattered.

Sad news to see you leave Chris.

Shame as Stu says to lose Connor and now Chris, two people long associated with the league, in quick succession.

I must be getting on for one of the oldest members still involved with the league. 2008 we started wasn't it? Bloody hell ;)

Anyone able to confirm if the settings for the testers mod is still the same as the race drivers mod in regards to the qualifying system? Or has it gone back to what it should be (22 cars ontrack, 3 or 4 flying laps each)?

Edit: Never mind. The settings are still the same. What do I change so that I can have 22 cars ontrack with 4 flying laps per driver?

I also wouldn't mind to add a team to the waiting list. Problem is that I have no idea what to call it! ;)

GPGSL-3 - Pizza Party Racing manager and driver
Nations Cup - Team Scotland manager
Haha, good comparison Dan.

We'll be MPR, you can be Team MPR.

Never know, I could possibly even go for a name swap at the end of the season.

Activity Check

There are two missing people. Belgian detectives estimate that they're both lost in the Ardennes, living life akin to a Ray Mears show.

Monil Santilal (MPR) - Last active: May 26, 2014
Dominic Brunner (Snake) - Last active: May 29, 2014

These are both second warnings.

Next deadline is the 29th June; results will come on the 30th.

GPGSL Rd 9 Belgian GP – Free Practice

Hello and welcome to the 9th round of the GPGSL: The Belgian GP. We are at Spa Francorchamps, and we are getting ready for the start of the testers free practice. We have a very high chance of rain for this weekend, but as for when it will come, no one seems to know. Anyways, let’s head trackside as the cars are about to head out for the start of the session.

Weather Report: Sunny With Possible Rain

Out first are both JHR’s.

Hunsley is first to set a time.

However, Copeman and Silvestre manage to go faster.

Schroder slots into 3rd with a decent laptime.

Hinz puts in a good laptime to slot into 2nd.

De Boer once again shows that SCR have a fast car by taking 3rd.

SCR team owner Stoddart goes 7th fastest.

Kittleson puts his Shadow up into 4th.

Which is short lived as Ingers goes faster.

De Bruyker puts in a stunning laptime to go 2nd fastest.

Van Smirren also puts in a good laptime, which is good enough for 5th.

Things are still not going right for TNR. Mills goes 12th fastest.

Demon owner Sheppard goes 13th fastest. He won’t be too pleased with his time.

Thomas in the second Shadow goes 4th fastest.

13th for O’Brien is the best he can manage. Considering the pace of the SCR cars, he’ll be a little bit disappointed.

Allington goes 12th fastest.

Schieder, who will no longer be doing double duty starting from the next round, goes 13th fastest.

Santilal puts his MPR into 5th. The session is looking good so far for MPR.

Domenech puts in a good lap, and finds himself in 7th.

Hayes goes 13th fastest.

Karjalainen goes 21st fastest.

McGregor puts his MAC Racing car into 17th.

With all drivers now having completed their first run, let’s take a look at the standings.

Silvestre gets the second runs underway.

Schieder looks to have come out of the pits in front of Schroder. Let’s see how the VSM driver handles this situation.

But wait, Schroder has hit the wall. What has happened to the VSM driver?

Let’s look at the replay. It looked like Schroder was trying to get by Schieder into Eau Rouge, but was forced out wide into the runoff area.

And as a result, he ended up spinning out into the wall.

De Boer improves himself up into 3rd.

Stoddart improves, but only as far as 18th.

His teammate on the other hand manages to improve up to 5th.

O’Brien is finally able to put in a decent time, and improves up to 6th.

Domenech in the second VSM manages to improve up to 9th.

Schroder is back out once again, only this time he is in the spare car.

His time is good enough to move him into the top 10.

With the second runs now completed, let’s look at the standings.

McGregor improves up to 18th.

De Boer again improves up to 3rd.

Stoddart improves up to 13th.

Van Smirren finds himself in the sand after hitting the wall.

Thomas sets a really good lap to improve up to 2nd.

Mills can’t seem to get the speed out of his TNR. His time only improves him up to 20th.

Sheppard improves up to 13th.

Kittleson isn’t able to match his teammates pace, but at least he ends up improving to 11th.

Copeman improves up to 15th with his time.

Santilal improves on his time, and now finds himself in 8th.

Schieder has managed to improve up to 18th.

Van Smirren is back out once again in the spare car.

He improves on his laptime, but it still leaves him in 12th.

With the third runs now completed, let’s look at the standings.

McGregor finally improves himself up into the top 10.

Mills improves, but only as far as 14th.

Allington improves on his time, but it is not enough to get inside the top 15.

Hinz puts in a great lap to improve up to 4th.

Ingers however can only improve up to 15th.

Santilal improves up to 6th.

Schieder improves on his time and moves up to 14th.

With the session almost finished, let’s look at the standings.

McGregor manages to improve up to 6th at the very last moment.

There we have it. Free practice is now finished, and we have our winner. Congratulations Gianluigi Silvestre and MPR. Next up: qualifying for the Belgian GP.

Results To Come

Oh dear, now what is going to happen? Dan threatened to fire Monil if he was to receive another inactive penalty, and Snake now have to find someone to replace Dominic for two races while he moves into the test seat. Will be interesting to see what comes out of this.

Regarding the tester's free practice, another double top 10 for SCR is a good sign of things to come for the race drivers. But if it rains, that could throw a spanner into the works. Anyways, time for a Monster and a well deserved rest.

Dagnabbit, this isn't ideal...looks like I'm not going to be able to stop the rot at Spa, unless a miracle happens.
