I second that! Very good race so far, very impressive Chris, let's hope to keep this passing rate up ;)

The year doesn't look like getting any better. Starting to feel the same way about next season as @danm.

Advert Break

"For god's sake, I have no pace...and I've gone off the road...oh, this is horrendous."
"Ruben, eat a Snickers."
"Why?"
"Because you turn into a right diva when you're hungry..."

*chomping*

"Better?"
"Better."

No Connor Steers were harmed during the making of this advert. We couldn't find one...for the second week in a row.

This is his second absence.

Be here on the 15th June.

I do wonder what has happened to Connor. Maybe his internet has been playing up and that's why he hasn't been on. If it was something else I'm sure he would've mentioned something about it by now. I just hope he hasn't lost interest like a few others who just left without a trace (John Warrington, Keeley Grant to name a few).

Regarding the coverage, I hope to have the final parts up by tonight. And thanks for the feedback on how I've been doing.

I'll have one waiting for him when he gets out of the car... I think he'll need it after today's race!

GPGSL Rd 8 Brazilian GP - Race Day

Part 3

Welcome back.

The pitlane has gotten busy once more.

Nell this time is held up in the pits.

Kederer rejoins in 19th behind both TNRs.

Race leader Van Renselaar is now in for his stop.

So too is Schieder and Greidanus.

McCarthy is in as well from 4th.

Van Renselaar rejoins in 6th.

Legge goes for a passing move on Maverick, but the AMR driver is able to defend his position.

The other Demon of Nell has closed in onto the back of McCarthy’s JHR.

With all drivers now having pitted, let’s look at the standings.

Warrington goes to the inside to try a move on Elleker, but isn’t quite close enough.

Further back, Schieder finds himself hounded by both Brunner and Edwards.

The TNR driver gets in front of the MAC, but isn’t able to make the move stick till later on.

Not much in it between the cars at the rear.

Looking rearward from Pedersen’s car, and it seems that Greidanus wants to try and get past.

It looks like he wasn’t close enough, so Pedersen holds his position.

McCarthy has managed to get by Brunner for 20th.

Back to the front, and Jalving still has a 3 second lead.

Greidanus is trying again to get by Pedersen.

He has a look up the inside.

And this time he is able to make it by.

Pedersen now has to worry about defending from the cars behind him.

And already he is unable to hold Horvath back, while Kederer waits for his chance to get by as well.

Both MPRs are in a league of their own at the moment.

With 11 laps to go, let’s take a look at the standings.

Nell goes for a move on Edwards.

And he manages to make it stick.

Kederer looks close enough to try for a passing attempt on Pedersen.

Looks like he isn’t close enough yet, and Pedersen holds his position.

Edwards could soon be put under pressure from McCarthy.

Gilson is still in 3rd, but it appears that he doesn’t have the speed to keep up with the MPRs.

McCarthy has a look up the inside of Edwards.

And the JHR driver moves up into 19th.

Kederer hasn’t given up just yet on his attempts to get by Pedersen. He takes to the inside of the MAC.

But still isn’t able to get by.

Van Renselaar is holding down 6th, but he hasn’t got that position secured yet. Scala, who is behind him, has been slowly catching up to him.

Kederer looks close enough this time to get by Pedersen. He has a look up the inside.

And finally gets in front of the MAC driver.

Now Schieder wants to try and get by as well. He goes up the inside of his teammate.

But isn’t able to make it by.

Nell has the best view of the battle between the MACs.

Schieder looks pretty close this time to Pedersen.

They go side by side.

And Schieder gets the position.

Nell wants his chance to get by as well.

He has a look up the inside.

But isn’t able to get by just yet.

As we go onboard with Gilson, let’s take a look at the standings.

It’s time for our final break of the coverage. Be sure to stay with us as we find out who our winner will be. We’ll try and be back soon.

Once again I lost a bit in the pits and once again the first stint was great and the second stint isn't working well. At least Jack is doing so damn well and should snatch the most places gained point.

I wouldn't be too worried, we all know it's gonna be a JHR right? ;)
