That's going to be an interesting after race.

About FP, it's nice to see so many cars in about half a second, looks like it's going to be an interesting race

A good performance from the testers in free practice. It looks like the car is performing well here. Really looking forward to qualifying now :-)

Marcus' time is encouraging, makes us forget the pressure of being locals. With some luck we could end up aiming at a podium finish :-)

Excellent result for Demon, with our new boy again going fantastically! Well done to Mr Allington, and it was about time I pulled out something and showed the rest of the GPGSL family, that i still have what it takes.... 2nd and 6th. Happy with that.

This has been mentioned once before. I believe the settings are the same as what is in the race drivers mod. I have no idea why it hasn't been changed back yet.

Regarding my result, 10th is quite decent. Although it was possible for me to improve, I just wasn't able to go quicker in my 2nd attempt. Well, time for me to sit back and see how my race team mates will go in qualifying.

Carlos, Gigi, Matteo. It's quite the group we have. Do we not have any racers from Costa Rica in the series?

Whatever happens, someone will be very disappointed, haha.

Going by England's 3-0 victory over the might of Peru last night, well we'll be fine ;)

Qualifying has been run and we have our pole sitter. Quite an interesting session as well. I'll have the coverage up as soon as it is ready.

GPGSL Rd 8 Brazilian GP – Qualifying

We welcome you back to Interlagos Circuit as we get prepared for the start of qualifying. Our current championship contenders are going to need to do the best lap possible to ensure they can put themselves in a good position for a decent finishing position in the race. So, without further delay, let’s head trackside to see who the first one out be.

Weather Report: Sunny With A Chance of Rain

Moinet is the first man out, and sets the fastest time first.

Legge gets close to Moinet’s time.

Rodriguez on the other hand gives the crowd a reason to cheer by going fastest.

Moinet drops another position, this time courtesy of Jalving.

A disappointing lap from Greidanus sees the Shadow driver sitting in last place.

Horvath’s time only manages to best Greidanus’s time.

Warrington takes the wooden spoon off of Greidanus.

Cartwright takes the fastest time from Rodriguez.

Schieder slots into 7th with his laptime.

8th for Pedersen is not what he would’ve wanted.

Nell slots into 9th.

With the first lap done from the first group of drivers, let’s take a look at the standings.

Elleker is the first out for the start of the second groups first run.

Elleker’s time is only good enough for 12th. He’ll be unhappy with that lap.

Maverick puts his Aston Martin into 6th.

Greenhalgh shows how fast his MPR is by taking the fastest time.

McCarthy is unable to match his teammates pace, and finds himself down near the rear end of the standings.

Brunner finds himself in 11th.

Van Renselaar pushes his One to the limit, and puts in a time that is good enough for 2nd. The One Racing supporters are all cheering right now.

Steer gives Snake some reason to be happy by setting a time that is good enough for 7th.

Gilson finds the best way to spoil One Racing’s moment by going 2nd fastest.

The bad luck streak continues for TNR as Edwards goes 14th fastest.

Scala goes 12th fastest. That’s not what the Italian would’ve wanted.

Kederer joins his teammate near the rear of the field. He will most certainly not be happy with his laptime.

With all drivers now having completed their first run, let’s take a look at the standings.

Moinet once again finds himself the first man out for the first group of drivers.

Warrington improves up to 18th.

It’s looking good for MPR as Jalving now has the fastest time.

Not much of an improvement for Greidanus as he only improves by one position.

Pedersen improves himself up into the top 10.

Here are the current standings now that the first group have completed both laps.

Greenhalgh is out first this time for the second group.

Greenhalgh crosses the line, but is 2 seconds off the pace.

So too is Van Renselaar and Gilson. Looks like the predicted rain has arrived.

By the time Scala finishes his lap, the laptimes have dropped by 4 seconds.

Scala’s day ends thanks to a loose wheel suffered on his in lap.

Thanks to the rain, no one in the second group was able to improve on their laptime. Therefore, congratulations go to Charrel Jalving and MPR, our pole sitter for the Brazilian GP. We are set for a cracker of a race indeed. With the contenders all near each other, who will be the leader once the race is over? Stay tuned for the answers. We’ll see you back here tomorrow for the race.

Results To Come

Well, I kinda like the track but I just wasn't fast enough. 19th place, well, atleast Jake is on 10th position. Let's hope that the race goes well.
