I assume your race drivers will remain the same? Which would mean you've found someone to take the test seat?

Our seat is also filled.

I've just got to get round to announce it.

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions

At this point for you guys to assume evens pure speculation.

Mabey Chris is our very own Tarso Marquez and leaves the series scared shitless of our cars.
It's even possible Matteo Scala will have to go into retirement as his salary-wishes are just too high.

At this point only Keeley Grant is announced. The rest will come soon. :D

With John and Charrel just a few points ahead, second is still possible, but anything can happen.

Ooh crap, i knew i forgot soemthing.. :p

Oh, okay then. I'll just post up the results from the feature race shall I? Was going to post a video but it seems redundant when everyone is now focused on the end of the season :)

GPGSL Non-Championship Feature Race

In terms of key events, there were no incidents in the first turn of lap 1 (thank goodness), De Bruyker (lap 4), Greidanus (lap 5) and McCarthy (lap 14) all went off at the same place as Christopher Hinz in the main race, Pellatt (lap 5) and Sevastian (lap 10) struck the wall on the left of the final turns, and Hayes (lap 20) went off at the same place as Owen Edwards whilst chasing Ricardo van Smirren for 2nd place (having risen up from 8th place after the stops).

Van Smirren made a mistake at the final turn to give Kittleson the lead at the end of lap 7, but regained the lead after the stops - only for Kittleson to chase him down and retake the lead on lap 17.

Greg O'Brien was unlucky to collide with De Bruyker's loose tyre following the incident on lap 4 and lost his front wing, having to pit. Daniel Thomas went off twice (first time on lap 8 at the same place Cartwright went off, 2nd time on lap 17 - still don't know how he didn't retire from either).

On a separate note, I'll get started with practice when I get an updated mod from Ruben - changing of drivers at Shadow and True North and whatnot ;)

Why did I knew I'd be losing from the decision not to count the race? Looks like it went damned well. Fastest lap and P8...
Glen is 12th, so a decent result.
P2, not bad. Congratz to Dean, you we're flying over the Nordschleife. Are you a family member of Jackie S.? :p

I wish ;)

Not too bad a result from the testers feature race, just a shame that ridiculous qualifying session was used for awarding points.....

As for the perfs for Silverstone : no HUGE engine boost for TNR this time??!! Shocked by that one.....and kind of upset not to see it there! Always a highlight of the season ;)

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
:-O Where is the nuclear powered TNR?

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
16th. Guess that's the best I could manage, given that I ended up having to pit for a new nose. I'll be doing my best for a good result in Silverstone.

Pretty good result from me in the featured race.
For the last race I can't expect very much looking at the boost used by so many people.

Forgot to mention, you were lucky as hell - you collided head on with a loose wheel from Ruben's Shadow when he crashed. Yet no damage. :-o

The posting of the perfs wasn't meant to hold back your video, Dean. But given that the feature race wouldn't have counted into the perfs, we decided to get them posted after the boost deadline expired so that it's there for you for whenever you want to run the sessions. But seeing that there were again so many DNFs, I once again raise my voice and claim that either there has to be a fix for the track to be used next season, or it shouldn't be voted again.

No worries about it, tbh it made more sense to post the results so I can concentrate on getting things ready for Silverstone :)

I know! Silverstone's not the same without a firework display...;)

"My ambition is handicapped by laziness" - Charles Bukowski
Bugger, I didn't even see the Silverstone boost deadline post,. what a real shame, that would have been amusing, I was saving them all season just for this moment :( Tradition has been broken. I wanted proper flames!

Damn. Unless I appeal and have the blessing of every boss to allow TNR to blow their entire boosts for the finale (won't happen, but worth an ask!? Seasons over, championships won)

On a side note, 3 and a half days is pretty tight given how far apart some of the races get run. Any chance this could be on the agenda for discussion with the GPGSL board - say extend the boost deadline for 7 days after the race is issued for next year?
