MAC Racing Finalize Driver Line Up

It is with great pleasure that I call you all here again today
to announce the signing that completes our driver line up.
It has been a tough period for the team with both main
game races leaving the team to go and test which shows a
fundamental flaw in our great sport. When someone
would rather go and test than be a racing driver, things
need to change.

However, it has open the door for an exciting new partnership
that I am sure will see the team blossom in the future. I said
when I started looking for drivers that we need experience
and that is exactly what we have got. A former World Champion
that has somewhat been forgotten about, but not by me.
His talent is immense and his ability to throw a car around is
exactly what this team needs.

So without fur ado, may I present to you, the newest MAC Racing
Driver John Warrington, I will turn the mike to John for a few words.

Thanks Nathan, "I am extremely happy to be joining the ranks of
one of the most well respected teams on the GPGSL grid, Mac Racing.
Results this season for Mac Racing have not been the greatest but I
feel that with the experience I bring to the table as a former world
champion, the team can go from strength to strength and hopefully
do what One Racing have done this season. At the end of the day, I
wouldn't join a team if I didn't think it could challenge for points and
victories, so this journey with Mac Racing is sure to be an exciting one.

I'd like to thank Nathan first and foremost for offering me the chance
to return to the racing arena of GPGSL and putting his faith and trust
in my abilities as a driver. I would also like to thank my former boss
Ricardo Van Smirren for allowing me to join Mac Racing and being so
understanding about the move. In a way I'm sad to be leaving VSM
as I love the team but it's time for a new adventure and I can't wait
to start the Mac Racing chapter of my career."

Thank you John, That concludes the press conference, you don't have
to go home, but you can't stay here :)

John Warrington, the journeyman of the GPGSL and our very own Jacques Villeneuve. Is there a team you haven't raced for at some point John? ;)

MPR will be making an announcement over the next few days regarding the future of the team so watch this space people.

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22

John Warrington is certainly not the forgotten man here at AMR. I didn't want him to leave, but I think he got frustrated in not being able to match Ed and always falling foul of one stopping in the two stop races. Anyway, as always mate I wish you and MAC all the best for next season :)

GPGSL - Christel VXR team Boss S6-S8, S12 Onwards

Matteo Scala's announcement

"Last race has been amazing considering the injury I have. Luckily it has almost completely disappeared. I feel great and I want a good result for the season finale. We're still on the run for a top 3 finish in the WCC. This season has been amazing for me so far. Last seasons' testing surely paid off and looking at Ricardo's results I think I could seriously fight for the TDC."

"It's been a pleasure to drive alongside such an experienced and talented driver as John. Not to undervalue Chris (heck! he's beaten me several times so far and he's at his first season) but with the good amount of luck today John would have won much more than he has. I wish him all the best for his new deal with MAC Racing."

"AMR won again everything? I never really did care that much, I still have the backmaker mentality: 6th place in the WCC and you're a winner (or at least beat Ricardo's team). Only this season I managed to get some amazing results. It would be nice to repeat it in S9 if not better. Yet I won't be fighting for the champ: I expect it to be between MPR and AMR."

"Where will I drive in S9? I might stay at Minardi... if Ricardo pays me better ;)"

My GPGSL Career
@Matteo, If you would have driven the first 3 or 4 races (Where Ben drove) aswell you would have been 2nd in the WDC standings. If we take his points and add them to your tally.

You can and will fight for the championship next year !
