GPGSL Season 8 Round 17 - Bacon, Eggs & Black Puddin' GP - Silverstone - GB [My Mum's black pudding is so black, even the white bits are black!][Final version of both csm mods released]

If you're first in the perf list due to winning the Constructors that's all well and good but why would that mean you get the first test numbers?

If I remember back then it was due to a mistake and we actually both ran with the same numbers that season.

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
Oh no, more disagreements about next season!

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps

If there was a like button I would like the hell out of this. ;)

Genuinely guys, just hold tight for a bit until the season is actually over. ;)

Because we are first. Logical really ;)

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
YEAH! What an awesome and well deserved good result :)

Connor was right to take 3rd from Dominic back, we messed up with his pitstop! Even though this has cost us 'most places gained'.
However I was holding my breath during the overtake! Very well done guys, let's repeat this one more time in Silverstone!

@Dean, great coverage! Shows exactely everything you wanna see but doesn't take much time to watch :) I really like it this way, one hour vids are cool, but for me personally too long to watch complete every time!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

No, sorry boss. But to me it isn't. If I'm not mistaken, the tester numbers have always been sorted from the results of the main drivers.

In this case, and in my understanding, this means that MPR takes 1-2, AMR 3-4 (because of Ed going to MPR)...and so on. Accordingly, the test driver numbers are MPR 24-25 (because they got the first two numbers in the main series, because of Ed's transfer), and AMR 26-27.

However, since AMR finished first in the WCC, AMR gets the first slot in the mod, whoever goes 2nd gets 2nd, and so on. That's how things have been handled so far, if I'm not mistaken. And really...where's the issue with numbers? Whether AMR has 24-25 in the test series, or 26-27 really doesn't make a difference!

As I said to Glen...you didn't need to watch the entire thing ;) The intention was for you to watch the first lap, the laps relevant to you (for a team boss, your drivers, or yourself if you are a driver) and the last lap.

In all honesty, I didn't have a clue how to make a one lap qualifying highlights video (with commentary) that wasn't just 22 drivers crossing the finishing line + sector times. If anyone has any idea for a better way feel free to PM me before the qualifying for Silverstone.

2 accidents, none was my fault... (N)

Sorry John, testing numbers in the test perf follow the team order, always has done! I have been doing the perfs for long enough to know that. There was a misunderstanding over the numbers back in S5, which meant AMR ran with 23 & 24 on their cars and MPR ran with 24 & 25, but in the perf it was AMR 24, 25. MPR 26, 27.

Looking at the current WCC standings, these are the decided numbers:
AMR 3, 4, 24, 25
MPR 1, 2
MAC 20, 21, 42, 43
JHR 22, 23, 44, 45

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian

Will Ed run for MPR??? Why MPR will be 1-2??

Ed is going to MPR for next season, and with him he will take the #1. Hence #1 and #2 for MPR.

Rod, you somehow managed to miss out on the biggest announcement if the season ;)

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
Feature Race has been run.

No wheel-to-wheel collisions this time...but six retirements - one of which I found to be absolutely galling for the person concerned.

Let's just say some of you will be thankful this is a non-championship race ;)

Fantastic to wrap up the championship at such a historic track, was very lucky to avoid all of the chaos around me! It was a pity that I had to win it due to the retirements of others though. I must say thanks again to Stu and all at AMR for my time there and I feel happy to have delivered another championship on the way out. All the best to the team for the future! I now can start to prepare for my new challenge and hopefully continue to achieve good results!

Please tell me that it wasn't one of the Christel's. The way you say it, makes it sound like someone put their car into a rollover. Or was it a mechanical issue for said driver?

Yeh, come on Rod, pay attention! ;) Ed is defecting to MPR at the end of the season, taking the number 1 with him.

Come to think about it, S9 will be AMR's 5th season in the GPGSL and we will have only run with the number 1 on the car for 2 seasons lol

It's not the first time I've pinched the champion from Velox/Aston ;)

Talking about cheap tricks. ;-)
