GPGSL S8 Round 14 -Monaco Grand Prix - The RD's Short Straw >> SHOCKING NEWS AT PAGE 204!!! <<

As for the Teamspeak costs issue: I am quite certain, I could get a free one. Most people are very friendly when it comes to one-time-using a TS in such a way, apart from that there are many free Teamspeaks to enter. Also I think, one is able to create temporary channels in TS, thus we would be able to create our own channels with a password and watch / stream the race without problems.
If for whatever reason something doesn't work out with TS, Mumble is the free alternative. A real life-friend of mine has his own server, I'm quite certain we could get it. AFAIK, it has nearly the same possibilities as Teamspeak.

As for the different possibilities in streaming, I'll definetely look into some of the possibilities mentioned by all, so google, what's possible. But as I'm writing important classtests (the last before A-level-exams) it could take some time.

I would suggest reducing ai errors to 20. I don't think it would be unfair to the testers to do so.

Agreed.

"If in doubt, Flat out."
Wow. That was an entertaining coverage. You sound very similar to Ben Edwards, now we need a DC. Anyone?
"Well we've got this ridiculous situation where we're all sitting by the start-finish line waiting for a winner to come past and we don't seem to be getting one!"

Would love a GPGSL James Hunt!

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
Superb race coverage - Had the whole house surrounding the screen as we were on the edge of our seats. Thanks for the effort!

From a TSM perspective, what a mare. Gotta raise my glass to Josh, he didn't have the car underneath him to do anything today and for that, I apologise. He was doing a brilliant job of defending his position in the top ten before an uncharacteristic move by John W put him on the back foot. I was having a great race personally working my way through the back of the field until getting caught out by Vilela's accident. I guess that's what you've got to expect from a tester driver's race however!

Looking forward, I don't hold out too much hope for qualifying. I am calmed by knowing how skillful and passionate my two drivers are and hopefully that'll be enough! Roll on next season!!!

Sometimes I get the idea that people think boosts are the ultimate holy grail ;)

When you can't even get close to the top of the TESTERS championship race with a team and driver boost then it's just lame :(

I don't believe in boosts.

If I'm honest that is kind of how they are sold. Im with Owen though, they seem to have very little effect.

Only now that I see Tim Roedl was inactive! =/ What can I do?

I don't think that this is the case. They're sold as a way to increase your chances. Nothing less, nothing more. A better perf gives you better chances. I think that is the best that can be offered within the limits of GP4.

Probably writing him a PM is a good start. Except that, there's pretty little you can do, I guess, other than wait and see if he'll be back before the next deadline.

I DON'T think they are sold this way, but I DO think that they need to be a bit more purposeful, especially from the point of view of a team boss wanting to implement strategy. Personally I like the way that the GPG Nations Cup does it.

On a completely different subject. My GP4 rig is now setup and ticking over beautifully so I should be able to run some more race weekends this season. I did a test race with the current race drivers mod around Monaco, as I know that we are going there later in the season, and the race was boring. Kederer got pole and stormed away and the rest of the cars spread out a bit but stayed in thier original positions. There was one overtaking move all race, and that was at the start.

And all I can say to that is bullshit.

I think he sounds more like Will Buxton...which means we need a Jerome D'Ambrosio, really ;)
