Nice result in qualifying, looking good for the race. Hopefully I can beat my teammate again ;)

@Incident 2k9, do you think you can post the on the limit magazine on this thread? I 'm having difficulty with it loading on my phone, and won't get a chance to see it on my computer until I get wifi credit.

Good luck to all of the drivers for the race, especially Christel VXR's drivers.

Grat to Owen, shame on me... ;-(
Nice to be at the other end of the grid to Melbourne! Should be an interesting race, nice to be in Adelaide again.

My god 3 pages in 2 days...

Happy with John's qualy performance seems he have improved massively after analysing the one-lap qualy results from thje last race for a week.
Always nice so see the effort of hard work.

Somehow Ben had problems with the tires in his run, we'll get to Bridgestone on that !

not bad result, but we want to reach higher places.
The race has been run and won with only one retirement. I am just going through the screenshots and will get a race report posted by tomorrow night.

1 retirement, that means at least one Demon has finished. With the new points system you will score a minimum of 2 points with place 21 (finished car) and place 22 (retirement)

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Hi all. I finally have my little family home and ll is well. The sleepless nights are beginning in earnest lol. Many thanks for all the congratulations. As for Adelaide, not a good result qualifying, it seems our season 1 boost curse has returned; I would have hoped with 3 bhp we could have been higher up. Lets hope the race sees us move up some positions.

GPGSL S8 South Australian Grand Prix, Adelaide.

(Track by F1Virtual)

Race Day Part One

The Australian people seem to overwhelmed by the GPGSL and have decided to not bother to come to a second Aussie race. Their loss!
Ed Greenhalgh lines up on pole in his second home Grand Prix with British driver Owen Edwards alongside him. Edwards seems to be having a great time in Australia, 2nd place in Melbourne, now 2nd on the grid in Adelaide.

The cars take their grid positions after the warm up lap.

Legge hangs on to 5th position.

Pedersen gains three places going into the chicane. Cartwright takes 2nd and challenges Greenhalgh for the lead.

Greenhalgh holds off the SCR driver and Edwards has a look up the inside of Cartwright as a result.

Nose to tail at the back.

Greenhalgh leads into the straight.

And starts pull out a gap already.

Edwards 3rd, Legge now up to 4th, Greidanus down to 5th, Jalving 6th.

Van Renselaar 7th, Steer 8th, Gilson up five places to 9th, Warrington 10th, Maverick 11th and Rodríguez 12th.

Greenhalgh completes the first lap.

Greidanus, in his desire to take back 4th place, bumps into the back of Legge.

Legge continues in 4th having narrowly missed the wall, but Greidanus takes a spin.

The whole pack files past, seems like a repeat of Melbourne for the Shadow driver.

He finally gets the car pointed in the right direction, but way down in last place.

That some gap to 4th after Legge's incident with Greidanus.

Greenhalgh takes fastest lap.

Rodríguez in 11th, has dropped 2 places from his starting position.

Edwards has settled well into the new TNR.

Greenhalgh with another fast lap.

Warrington seems to holding up a few drivers this afternoon.

Edwards is keeping Cartwright busy.

Hinz locks up in 20th place.

Greenhalgh is really going for it. Perhaps he is low fuelled and wants to make a sizeable gap before he does a longer run.

Hunsley takes a different line in the hope of taking Horváth.

But its Elleker who makes a pass on Kederer.

Gilson gets fed up of Warrington's blocking tactics and gives him a shove.

In F1 that would result in a penalty for Gilson, but the GPGSL thats a legitimate pass.

Greenhalgh, however is totally oblivious to the action behind him as he sets another fastest lap.

Maverick's turn to try to get by the Minardi.

The top three are in a class above everyone else today.

Jalving 5th place.

Oops the Dutchman looks to have lost concentration.

He was lucky to only lose one position.

Kederer tries Gilson's trick and barges Elleker out of the way.

Elleker now back down 18th.

Greidanus has caught Spencer, but has a bit of a moment locking up.

Kederer takes fastest lap this time.

Stay tuned for part two.
