Wow! That's very good news :)

lol I don't that Chris will get him signed up soon!
Well if we are on a "sign up baby driver talent" scenario, my nearly 8 month old boy is a certainty for a drive with Demon Racing in coming seasons then! LOL

Qualifying (Part One)

Welcome back to the Adelaide street circuit for the qualifying session for the South Australian Grand Prix.
Just to remind everyone, each car will do one timed lap only, one by one and will emerge from the pits in a random order.

First to take to the track is TSM's Ruben Greidanus, who will be hoping for a much better result after his disappointing showing in Melbourne.

Ruben sets the benchmark, 1m12.039s

Jack Elleker is next to take a shot at the pole, but despite being faster in the 2nd sector finishes 3 tenths down.

DMR's Somogyi takes 2nd.

Wow that was really close by Rodríguez, he was even ahead at the second check. 2nd Position.

One Racing send out their 2nd car straight away and gets even closer to Greidanus' time.

John Maverick can't get any worse than his last qualifying position and after a very fitting time for a Aston Martin in the 2nd check, takes 4th so far.

Aussie Gp winner Gilson will no doubt be hoping for another pole. Unfortunately it wasn't to be.

Christopher Hinz just seems to be struggling for grip out there and ends the lap in 8th and slowest.

Lets check the standings after 8 cars.

We'll take a break there, stay tuned for part two of qualifying.

Dang! Already beaten by Stefan! Anyway, looks good for now :-)

And on a side note, my biggest congratulations for Josh, Chris and their family! Bet my eight-year-old bro could make an appearance anytime hehe ;-)

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
The suspense is killing me!

Unless I'm very much mistaken... I am very much mistaken!
Not looking great for me :(

Congratulations :-)

Qualifying (Part Two)

Back to the action and Cartwright is really close in the first sector.

Close again in the middle sector but this time goes green.

Cartwright takes provisional pole by only 6 thousandths of a second.

MAC's Davies is next up and another to go close in the first section.

However, he has lost time in the middle sector.

Despite a good last part of the lap, Davies ends his run in 6th position

Connor Steer is the fisrt Snake out on track.

Only a tenth down on Cartwright to put him in 5th.

Johnson can't match the pace of the front runners and finishes last so far.

Hunsley is still finding his feet at MPR. 8th place.

Greenhalgh is confident he won't make any mistakes in this qualifying session and is faster at the first time check.

The double champion is still in front at the 2nd intermediate.

The Aussie sticks his AMR on the pole. There will be some groans up and down the pitlane, no doubt. Can he stay there?

The 2nd DMR takes 4th place less than a tenth slower. It's proving to be very tight.

Kederer is already nearly 2 tenths down by the first check.

Not last, but only 3 cars slower than him.

Thats 8 cars that have made a run, lets have a look at the standings so far.

Stay tuned for part three.

The track seems to improve! The team made the descision seeing the forecast that we wait for the track temperature to improve and more rubber on track. Lets see what I can do in my 1 flying lap!

Qualifying (Part Three)

On with the final part of qualifying.

Former champion Warrington is next to try is luck.

Takes 6th place, his vast experience showing through there.

Dutchman Charlie Jalving brings out the MPR.

Jalving takes 5th place just under a tenth slower than Greenhalgh.

Horváth is the first of the TNRs to get a run out.

Another disappointing qualy run for the Hungarian.

No sooner has the first TNR gone out, Edwards appears in the other one.

This is close to the pole time. Can the youngster do it?

Oh so close! One thousandth of a second slower and 2nd place for Edwards.

Pedersen is next.

Very lack lustre after the excitement of Edwards' lap.

Last but not least, Gary Spencer sports his improved helmet.

Last runner and last on the grid.

Official Qualifying Results.
