Maverick again not pleased with his qualifying performance

"11th is way up my personal demand. Congratulations to Ed for his pole time, even if it was really close to Owen Edwards. Perfect situation for him and he has shown that the car has a lot of potential, also in qualifying. But with this one-lap qualifying, I personally seem to struggle to get good temperature in the tires and that's definitely something I will have to work on. But if my race pace is as good as it was in Melbourne, there's still a good chance for a good bunch of points. And hopefully, I'll learn soon to manage one-lap qualifyings better."

Fantastic result for Owen, proving to be an excellent promotion Best season start we have had in a long time, I have very good hopes for the race and strong points.

Unlucky for Nobby. He doesn't seem too good at the single lap qualifying format so far. Not to worry, the season is long!
