There's so much new by now that I suggest you read through the 17 pages of this thread, including the first GPGSL posts since there were some rule changes.

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
I would assume now with a brand new team entering the season, that both One Racing and Demon Racing will share the same amount of Team boost for the season? Seems logical to me...

AND i hope my comments regarding re-numbering and team order allocation were taken the right way, and not as any criticism. I fully understand how the entry of new teams work, just trying to "defend" Demon Racing's honour at not being team #11!! lol We will happily move to slot #10.

Excited to get a drive with Rodrigo at One, the first (I believe) South American team in the league! I reckon we can fight for midfield positions, but of course our main rivals will be the Demon boys ;)

More news about me to follow soon...

Of course they are relevant, the perf file wouldn't work and GP4 would allocate the original numbers. We have done it this way before, Dan.

A great addition to the grid, Rod! Love it :)

Stu, I meant in terms of putting them on the actual liveries, as that way if this was to happen again then there would be no overlap of numbers.

Rod, lovely livery mate, glad to see you finally make it to the grid with One Racing.

Sure looks like we will see some great battles throughout the field this season.

Now time for a little announcement...

MPR News Flash

MPR are pleased to announce that Carlos Rodriguez is the latest racer to join the newly launched Martini Club (Driver Programme).

Carlos joins hot on the heels of Gareth McCarthy who was signed at the close of Season 7, and then subsequently loaned to Minardi.

Dan Paddock had this to say about the deal: "As soon as I saw that the possibility to sign Carlos was available I jumped at th opportunity."

"While now signed to MPR, Carlos will still continue to race for ART/One Racing as per before, however in a loan capacity."

"The idea of the Martini Club is to create a pool of talent that the team can develop, very much in the same vein as TSS has done over the last few seasons, which has been very successful. Obviously we only have four drives available at the team, therefore, members of the programme are freely available to drive for other teams, for example Carlos at One Racing. The main benefit for these young drivers will be that they have the opportunity to test and possibly race with the team, while also being able to gain valuable first hand experience with other teams."

"I'd like to invite any young racers who would like to join the programme to PM me and we will see what can be done, the decision to join the programme will ultimately rest with your current team owner however, as we fully respect the rules of the GPGSL."

To avoid this you should start test series with a rounded number, like 31 for first car of the test series and following numbers for the other test drivers, so you'll got some free slots to feed for some new teams if that kind of thing happens once again (and don't have a "two teams and four drivers" with the same numbers on their cars). Plus it would be clearer for everyone to follow who is in the main series and who is in the test series just by reading the car numbers in the tabs.

Maybe it's not possible for this year's season because it's surely too late to implement this, but for season 9 it could be fine.

Well... My 2 cents for the league. :-)

Congratulations on this Carlos. Funny thing is I did exactly the same thing. Pm'ed and offered you a role in public, and in the forum. Oh well...

Is that the same livery as One's GPGSL-3 livery? How did you convert it over to GP4?
Very nice livery - but I think it needs retouching as a lot of those logos are very low quality.

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Where is the best place to go for hi quality logos? I've tried brands of the world, but don't get how the vector works when copying the logo to a car livery. And Rod_vs, have you thought about sending your livery to the guy who does renders of cars? I'm sure he would make the livery stand out a lot better. ( I'm sorry if I don't know the username.)
