Can see why Ferrari never used to share their radio, Ferrari are lying on the red button now saying massa chose to let alonso pass lol.

China 2008 was about as obvious as you can get, I can't remember how they did it at Brazil.

There were probably messages then as well (although Massa/Raikkonen knew what they had to do), but this is the first ever race where radio messages can't be encrypted.

When you are going to break the rules and use team orders, at least set it up properly. Every Ferrari employee is saying something else now, that's hardly going to help them.

yes we all know...

oh and Massa did it even more clear at pressconfrence when asked did you do a mistake? he said no...Fernando passed me. so even that will be against Smedley's word about Felipe doing mistake with gears.

at brazil they did it that kimi was on track pushing as hell and felipe came to his pitstop and when coming back to track kimi overtook him same time as Felipe came out of the pitlane.

Ok, thanks. I'm as disgusted as you are with their actions, but I think a penalty is unlikely.

Also, what's a fair penalty? (apart from DSQing Alonso only). A fine and they get away with it and a double DSQ and Massa loses out even more...

this pisses me off!

as much as a Ferrari fan i am, this leaves you gutted.... only Ferrari manages to do it after achieving a 1-2

team orders are very common and they might take place on every gp, but why make it so obvious???

I don't see what Alonso has done wrong.

If there is any penalty it will be a suspended one or a loss of constructors points. The drivers points will be unaffected.

Ferrari have been called to the stewards now. I think ferrari will lose this result.

Guys ok there were teamorders for sure but be reasonable, Alonso is still in the running for the championship so they made a good choice to let alonso win but they had to play it more subtile todo it.

Remember also a few years back, Heikki let hamilton pass also very easy, he'd brake alot earlier then you normal would do and maked place so wide the track could be. Letting massa win when alonso has a good chance to win the championship would be stupid but they could have done it when massa struggled with the balance after his pitstop :-)

I was only joking about that really, I know that they can't penalise Alonso only (despite the fact that he again did no help to his reputation at all)

It would have been a fantastic story for Massa to win a year after his crash with a Ferrari 1-2. I just can't believe the thought process that must have gone on at Ferrari. Alonso wasn't that much faster than Massa, and he isn't that much ahead of Massa in the championship. And they must have known the negative media - just look at the Red Bull situation! A great vote of confidence for their driver alright!

In 2008, Lewis was behind and was closing fast on Heikki. Of course it's not certain Lewis can pass him, but probably he would pass him, so Heikki moved away to not let him lose time. But here, Alonso was just slightly faster than Massa.

Yeah but if you let someone pass without putting a fight its the same thing in my eyes: lewis-heikki & massa-alonso in content of the championship

Lewis was in contention and way too faster than Heikki. Alonso isn't in the contention and not significantly faster.

According to RBR Twitter, someone asked Fernando in the press conference if the win ranks up there with Singapore 2008!

Yeah but the only thing that counts at the end of the season is the Championships and the amount of points they collected to get their money. I am a massa fan but i understand the choice Ferrari made just they could have done it more subtile.

Lewis was also recovering after the team screwed up his strategy when the Safety Car came out
