Probably the biggest sting in the barbed response from Vettel is, that he is likely to be right.

It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

Lewis starts P11.

At least he gets to choose his own tyres.

RedBulls seem unbeatable at the moment, whether their fuel tank can last the race is another thing...

Irritating that Schumaher was fastest in S2 but probably pitted to save the tyres. :-(

I'd still fancy the Ferrari to be stronger over the long runs, but whether Alonso can outmuscle TWO Red Bull cars is another matter. I expect we're more likely to see a Red Bull win tomorrow than we were in Bahrain.

OMG my alarm didnt wake me up so i missed fp3 and 1hr build up to quali grrr!

Vettels pole lap was amazing! Like above, brilliant to get that laptime even with few errors in last corners! Very happy to see him on pole, hopefully he can win this time!
Im thinking vettel to easily win from Alonso then Webber. Hopefully the dirty side is effective ;)

I think Red Bull have a version of the mass damper (used in the 2006 Renault), but this time to automatically change the ride height as the race progresses i.e. it's quite sensitive to a change in the amount of fuel in the car.

EDIT: This is a logical guess using my Physics knowledge, and in theory it could explain why they have such a performance advantage in qualifying.

Also remember that Mass Damper systems were BANNED just before the 2006 German Grand Prix.

Here is the Wikipedia entry for Mass Damper.

and where did you find this info?

its assumed they have a control to adjust the rideheights manually as the race goes on at there pit stops

But how come the car is very low i.e. "skimming the ground" when there's virtually no fuel in the car? Why is it that no other team is doing this if this proves to be the case?

Its not really that hard is it? Just implement something electronic like on road cars they can adjust the height of the car via sports mode etc. Just have connected to ECU so something like for certain %fuel used decrease height by "x" amount or something?

What's the weather prediction for tomorrow? Hope it rains, cause otherwise it's going to be a Red Bull borefeast to the finish.
