That's because the livery is strikingly similar to the Dale Coyne IRL car driven by Justin Wilson last year.

theres also a few more photos of it now.

hmmm, its an odd one. at first glance from a distance it looks very conventional,

then when you look a bit closer you see its got the steep sloping and sharp pointed nose,
the exhausts seem to be very far forward in the side pods, and as i mentioned earlier, no central column on rear wing.

the diffuser looks fairly tame but then its a little hard to tell given the angle of the photo.

must say i do like it.

if it goes half as well as it looks then they're going to be doing very well.

btw kirky, your right. its another car running 3 planes i think.

I just dont understand why other teams have not ran with 3 rear wing planes this year or last. 3 planes will offer a great L/D ratio, delayed seperation, and are less pitch sensitive i believe (however being so high thats no issue)

I think the simple and clean look is just a function of being a new team with no previous data, and of course being only cfd.

i agree with that. it makes sense to start with something uncluttered and add bits to it as you get a better understanding where you need to improve the car, rather than starting with bits stuck on because other teams have them.

infact wirth did seem to indicate in the video that they've left themselves space at the back of the car to make changes if needed

Oh.... I think I just fell in love. :-o

The front wing looks much flatter than others that have been launched. But that's the only bit of the car that seems under-developed (wrong word?) compared to other cars that have launched so far.

The Virgin car looks quite nice - maybe it could be the season surprise, beside Sauber (if testing is anything to go by)

Nick Wirth has said in the clip on the BBC website that this is not the Bahrain spec car (as we probably all knew about all the cars launched and tested so far), so expect new bits and changes such as the extra element on the front wing to happen.

i don't like the day-glo orange/red but the shape looks alright.

Sauber are most likely running low fuel to get publicity. As much as I like Sauber, I think it'll be much of of 2009's performance.

That car is stunning, right up there with the Ferrari as the best looking so far, I like it's clean, simple lines(Y)

When i heard the interview i thought the message was the car had alot of scope for development. Nice sidepods, similar inlets to Mclaren, and they go so low!

Once again another car which looks good. Not been an ugly car yet ;-)!!!
