2010 Car Launch thread

The Mercedes GP car looks ok, but still I find it an ugly car due to the livery of the car. The STR looks sweet! I can't wait to see the cars on track tbh .

I can't spot any significant differences on the new STR...

Yes, the STR5 looks a lot like the late season RB5.

Yes it does, except the bigger fueltank ofcourse. But for some reasons I like the revised colorscheme of the front nose. I also noticed the new helmet of Alguersuari, looks a bit like the one that Monteiro used in 2005.

2013 - Nando must come through..

That new Merc just screams "ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH" at me. It's like how I'd imagine the Batmobile would look if it were designed to F1 regs.

STR as expected, RedBull did have to leave a car there over winter, must have just forgot ! :p

Mercedes, a direct evolution on a winning concept. Nice new engine cover and airbox! Very stylish!

New Renault features some new wings today, front and rear.

Yet to see any diffuser shots other than from STR, which is almost an identical diffuser to RedBull's solution last year! Some talk going on regarding Mclarens engine cover too, and the need for the thickness towards the rear.

Why's Sauber using grooved tyres? Do they not have slicks?

The high nose seems to be the weapon of choice this year. A lot of nosecones thus far look VERY similar...

love the STR livery, with the red on the nose. very snazzy. now you can easily tell the difference between them and their big brother team whereas last year especially it was often quite difficult.

That Renault is stunning. What a beauty!

It's a shame that the Ferrari looks like crap...

You have a good point there. They might be using it to see how airflow is. However, by the first race it might solved. Otherwise we'll get another uproar like last year.


The double diffusers are just massive!

Most teams that we've currently got pictures of are seen to be running the double. The McLaren just has one monstrous one!

So the Manor will be shown off tomorow! Expected to be in black :D!

For good reason alot of people seem to be excited by what this car could look like!
