WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally I felt Alonso deserved it more, the amount of crap he's had to put up with - but Kimi the Champion is fan-bloody-tastic!!

I bet Kimi knows all about that Mclaren unreliablity that dogged Hamilton today, and he's just grinning away happily on the wise decision to join Ferrari now ;)

I used to be a Kimi fan, I've supported Lewis this year.
I'm happy Kimi won, he's lost out before and even he admitted Ferrari was his last chance. Lewis has a long career ahead. At least Alonso didn't win.

Waiting for the pictures of Kimi drop dread drunk in a Brazillian bar lol!

The only reason that Alonso had a chance was because McLaren are completely fair with their drivers - because 99% of that team would have wanted Hamilton to win after the way Alonso treated them.

Kimi deserves to be a 3 times champion by now so I am really pleased to see him take his first one - very overdue!

Very interesting race. Hamilton shows himself to be the punk I suspected him to be all along. Just deserts for him AND ron Dennis. I predict Hamilton will be downhill from this point on. We have seen him flame out and here's to him dropping back to earth. Not much better than Montoya after all...;)

Maybe you can console yourself over Hamilton's loss by crying as you read the 3 inch high headlines in the British press tommorrow. I'm sure they and all the Lewis fanboys have at least 100 excuses as to how he got "cheated" out of the title...;)

Grow up. Its this sort of inflamatory comments that really drags this forum down.

Well deserved title for Raikkonen, Hamilton was unlucky but it all evens itself out over the course of the season. He has plenty of years to get the job done. Good race, personally I'm glad Alonso didn't win it. Happy for Raikkonen.

The right man driving the right car won.

Dennis deserves to lose for taking a Hamilton WDC over a McLaren one 2 weeks ago.

Would be nice to see the Ferrari fans gracious in victory, on other forums this doesn't seem to be the case tbh.

Still, well done Kimi, might be worth avoiding any F1 forum for a week if you fancy keeping your brain cells intact.

TripleM, let me correct ;)

"The right man driving the wrong car won.

I would be delighted for a Kimi win, if it wasn't for the red car he was running.

and errrm, Mclaren couldn't win the championship remember ;)

This title is 4 years overdue for Kimi, if only he could have won it in a Macca :(

Quite agree - Alonso made more mistakes in Canada Turn 1 than Hamilton made in the entire season...

Had they gone about it more sensibly 2 weeks ago Raikkonen would have been mathematically eliminated from the championship.

McLaren's decision making left the door open and Raikkonen took the chance however small it seemed 150 minutes ago.

He's a rookie come on. and only 22, you put yourself in that place. Leading the championship all year, then your rivals passing you on lap 1.

I'm still astonished. Just superb! Kimi world champion finally. And to be honest, after all the crap McLaren did this year, I'm glad his title was won in a Ferrari. He said himself in the press conference that he loved the team and they have a much better way of working than in his previous team, hehe, so kudos to him for making the right decision. Really happy for him. I guess it'll take some time to sink in now, hehe.

You are in a topsport... You must handle that kind of pressure.. He should't have done that move.. But he learns from it.

campeone del mondo Kimi, capo di tutti capo!

and he deserves it, he's was the most effective driver scince magny cours, and Lewis only had 1 mechanical failure, but still finished, Kimi had more, and didn't finish!!
