Basically, Bernie's said no more to Magny Cours, and would ideally want a track around the streets of Paris or something similar. Paul Ricard, BTW, isn't mentioned as a future venue in the article.

Now for my opinion: WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!

Finally!!
A Paris street circuit would be ace, but the EuroDisney would be even greater :)

i really like this track in GP4, and i bet the real drivers find the 2 high-speed chicanes fun to drive through. shame it produces generally boring races though, so i guess it's a good thing to drop it.

no thanks, i don't think my eyes and brain can cope with the dazzling array of random patterns and colours at the side of the tarmac. it'll be like trying to spot a car on one of those magic-eye pictures.

It's not like Paul Ricard was anything special in terms of location, access and atmosphere.

But what the heck let's move the race to a similarly drab place, only a lot greener and then 16 years later complain that it has never developed into something they wanted.

The question is, what exactly did they want?

"Paul Ricard anyone?"

I believe that words "glamorous location" were used to describe the future venue.

Besides PR has no grandstands. Owned by Bernie isnt it ?
